Agree with you. I placed the order in a great hurry fearing that it will run out of stock. Looks like the original 450 will become the limited edition and the 450X will become the mass market thing.

Try replacing the " %email% " at the end of the URL of the form with your email address. It worked for me. Just looks like some bad coding in the email…

New teaser for colours for 450X is out. Only thing puzzles me is the dark red/maroon colour in the center never moves or goes off in the video. Does that hint anything.

I’m also from Yelahanka, Planning to Pre-Order Ather-450X but I’m worried about the range.
I travel daily to my office in Marathahalli and return back to Yelahanka. My daily commute is exactly 60Kms.(Approx it takes 1Hr in the morning and 1.5Hr in the Evening). Will I be able to get atleast 65Km of range (Considering Bangalore Traffic) on One full Charge so that my travel to my office will be hassle free.

I think 60 km is easily doable. Just this week, I kept track of my rides and observed that after I’d done 40 km, and the battery went from 100% to just over 50%. And this was without any deliberate effort to drive efficiently (avoiding hard stops, coasting, keeping speed below 45 kmph, etc.)

Nice to listen that from you. One Question. I might need to stop frequently sometimes due to bad traffic. will I still be able to achieve 60-65Km on single charge ?

Higher speed rides will give you lesser range, low speed rides will give you higher range. Typically EV give higher range in city start stop traffic then highways.

60kms is easily doable, you can thoughtlessly drive and still make it. I travel 40kms everyday in heavy traffic and I’m still left with almost 45% charge at the end of the day.

The slower you go the more range you get… Don’t worry about stopping. It will not decrease your range for sure
