probably has nothing to do with the brake

The Auto Hold problem I was facing has now resolved on its own. I think water might have entered one of the sensors.

I had washed the scooter yesterday, and after that, it was left out in the rain for 2–3 hours. When I kept it overnight, the issue disappeared by itself. Now, Auto Hold is deactivating normally with the brake again. So, it seems like it was a temporary sensor issue caused by water.

I had enquired about the same. They mentioned criteria to upgrade. I meet the criteria but still no option to create new post. Looks like they just want to limit it between themselves. Not very useful.

On my recent 15K service visit, the SC has told me rear bearing wheel is entirely gone and needs to be replaced immediately. Is this normal to replace the bearings in just 15K kms? The SC guy says some people even replace every 5K kms. Is it true?

yeah its normal the roads in bangalore are so good that these bearings must be changed very soon

Thanks I was worried for a moment the SC was trying to scam me. Relief to know that the city is scamming.

Hey everyone — need quick advice. My Ather 450X Gen 4 has ~6,500 km.

•	Front tyre just passed the tyre-change indicator.

•	Front brake pads are \~20% left.

•	Rear brake pads are roughly \~50% left.

•	Rear tyre hasn’t hit the tyre-change indicator yet, but it will soon.

I admit I ride pretty aggressively, so I’m looking for tyres with good grip but also decent longevity. In Sri Lanka, the tyres I can reliably find are TVS Eurogrip Remora and MRF Zapper N.

Which one should I go for — grip-wise and longevity-wise?

Mrf would be good

Nah man, Michelin City Extra

Gripwise - TVS

Longitivity - MRF but Poor Braking

Why Front Tyre gone in 6.5 k KMs

Usually It goes for 35-40k Bro

The tyres aren’t shot but the tyre wear indicator has almost touched so i wanted to prepare myself beforehand itself. Thank you for the suggestion brother.

Hi @abhishek.balaji :-

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the servicing experience I had at Ram Ather Vanastalipuram on 29th Nov 2025 for my 450X scooter.

Previously, I had taken my scooter for servicing at Nagole, Hyderabad, and had a satisfactory experience. However, after the recent servicing at Ram Ather Vanastalipuram, I’m facing issues with the scooter. It’s producing a huge noise, has poor pickup, and seems to have some other issues. This is in contrast to its performance before the servicing, when it was running smoothly with no noise or belt sound.

I feel that the engineer may not have had sufficient experience, which led to these issues. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the service and feel that my time and money have been wasted. I’ve lost trust in Ather Scooter’s service.

I purchased my scooter for Rs. 1,60,000, and I’m concerned about the poor after-sales service.

Furthermore, I’ve experienced poor communication from the service team, and they don’t seem to be taking my concerns seriously.

I hope you will look into this matter urgently and resolve my issue.

I just got an Ather just 1 1/2 month back, and the charger suddenly stopped working, initial diagnosis I understand some software issue, but it has been with the service center from 5 days and all i am told is they have sent email to some very busy backend team who dont reply and I am wondering and praying hard for their reply. I took all their extended warranty, 8 years warranty, dont know what I should do. I had earlier an Ola bike and saw how dreaded their service is, and now here within 1 1/2 months i am seeing that they atleast talk and say something, but nothing seems to be done. Should they not give a spare charger if they have no time frame to address things, and what is the use of warranty if they just working hard to avoid replacing it. Please help me with what i can do to help me get the charger
