How many Gen 1.5 owners have retained their 450s? How many have upgraded to later models? How many have just gone for buy back offer without upgrading? Any data available?

Yes, only when itâs fully dead(refuses to wake up), does not provide range, or Errors conundrum.
Why ECO mode not forcely enabled in my Ather 450x even below 5 % battery.
IF you have smart eco turned off only then is eco mode forcibly switched to, and that happens once your battery is 18% or below

Especially, thereâs a keech keech sound from the rear pulley when the belt touches the rear pulley guide â the part that prevents the belt from going out of alignment or falling off. I can also feel a grinding sound (with vibrations on the footboard), which usually occurs around 20 km/h during acceleration. However, during rain, this grinding lasts up to 60 km/h if I accelerate suddenly, but itâs not noticeable with gentle throttle input. It will be worse if I ride with pillon + steep hill + rain it almost feels like belt is slipping from pulley but actually belt tension is perfect!! I already showed it to service center and never found the solutionâŚ

Although they charge more, Ather service center I recently visited didnât have a separate water dispenser for the customers. One water dispenser was shared by the customers with the shop floor mechanics. And the mechanics were using it with their dirty hands. So any customer wonât take a sip from there.
Which service centre it is? City and Location would help to improve service.
Is this issue resolved? Any workaround provided. Same issue with my bike too.

This story pretty much reflects my experience during vehicle delivery at the same dealership. This should not be a recurring situation, and they should learn from their mistakes and train their representatives.
I have a very Pathetic experience with my new Ather Rizta Z purchase done at Ulhasnagar Showroom in Thane . Can someone Guide me how to raise this to the deaf ears and my issue reach to someone who can assist here ?
My issues :
1 .I received a faulty manufacturing unit which put my fatherâs life in risk . My 3 days old vehicle today (Took delivery on 2nd Oct 2025) , got completely stranded in the middle of road and heavy traffic .Key Suddenly stopped working and in the middle of road , vehicle got stopped .I along with my father literally spent 3 hours on road trying to get a help .Calling dealership, service center just to get help .The entire experience was extremely terrifying , devastating and literally spoiled my entire experience of owning a rizta.
2 .My scooter upon taking to service center was inspected and found to came with a faulty key and lock system which service center informed needs to be replaced. So what kind of checks the dealership or the PDI team did while they handed over the vehicle to me or they simply passed on faulty piece just to boost their sales ?
- My Vehicle was handed to me without completing or I strongly suspect now without even the RTO registration .Its only after my multiple reminders , dealership did the registration process after 2 days of delivery .I havenât received any registration information even now despite multiple attempts to communicate in a civilized manner. Today, when the Service center mandated the Vehicle number for job sheet and replacement of lock , the sales team provided them the details ( the same details which I was asking them from Day 1 ) .They have also taken an additional amount of INR 1000 ( Offline RTO work) from me citing my address details were not matching , but they were not doing registration .I provided them my updated documents right on next day after the delivery of vehicle , but they denied accepting stating they started process .But in reality they did the registration on later date .So why the fuss to give fake assurances to customer , just another money grab scheme .What kind of nonsense is going on ?
4.Who is responsible for selling me a faulty manufacturing unit and putting me and my family 's life in danger ? Someone needs to answer this before I take the matters in my hand to reach out to the consumer court and relevant authorities.
PDI is not done properly in most of the peak Sale Cities, Similar incident happened in Chennai Guindy EC. PDI errors are common in Ather Nowadays.
No one else than Ather Energy Ltd. Dealerships may come and go. But We believe in Ather and Buy Products. They should take ownership for the Dealer Errors. Thatâs none of our Business to find whose wrong here, What Ather ASM (Sales) doing?

I raised issue with both dealership and Ather app support and social media on x over fault in vechicle and false registration commitment . I only received copy paste replies but havenât received any communication .
I have now received my copy from Vahan Portal which I found after doing a bit amount of googling ,only to be left with a shock that vehicle was sold without any temp or permanent registration on the date of delivery .I was not given any document for proof of RTO and was told to drive illegally . My conscience and legal knowledge prevented me from doing anything stupid and I awaited for 4 days but havenât received any single document from dealer . I submitted all my documents 3 days prior to dealership in person before the delivery date and also since they said there was some issue with address , they charged me 1000 rupees ( Initially asked for 2100) but when I denied to pay this much and delayed my purchase as I sent my documents for update .They reduced to 1000 to make me purchase ..But nonetheless , registration was done after 2 days of delivery and I have records claiming the salesman that registration is done and they were awaiting for number plate . I even received my updated documents but they refused to take citing registration is already processed but in reality they didnât even started the registration . Such malpractice can surely be fatal and their trade licence will be cancelled . I just need to give them a fair chance to come clean and answer this .Otherwise I will be definitely taking them for a ride to Consumer court .
The same thing happened to me, but my issue was a bit different. I went to buy the Rizta 3.7 kW variant, but it wasnât available in the showroom, and the waiting period was about one month. At that time, the 2.9 kW variant was available, so I bought that one. However, there was an issue with the vehicle â whenever I plugged it in for charging, it would restart, though the charging still continued. I thought it might be normal since it didnât happen every time.
But when I tried charging it at a fast charger, the scooter restarted there too, and it showed âNot Charging.â I rode around 3000 km with this issue, and then the problem became more frequent. I took it to the service center, where they kept the vehicle for two days, replaced one part, and after that, everything started working fine.

Thanks a Ton @chef.arun7 for the guide to make a post . I have to spend some more time to reach level 2 to create a new post . For now , let me share few updates here. I have received a call last evening based on Twitter / X escalation team and they have created a case for me .I have shared every single update , but havenât heard back . This morning I got a call from the dealership .Initially as expected they started giving me all bluff / useless stuff saying it was put into offline registration on much prior date .i literally Started reading out every single entry from Vahan portal of registry as when they registered , when they paid taxes , with time stamp after 2 days of delivering the vehicle .I had every single communication ,most of the calls recorded so I am well prepared from my side if I have to raise it legally for cheating and mental harassment .Later they accepted wrongdoings of said employee and asked me to provide some time to initiate action and provide me my documents and plate . They are yet to refund me additional 1000 which they charged for no reason . Meanwhile I got a call from Ather Tech team as the lock failed in early run which is rare as per them , so they expected me to take it 10 km away service center on my own for analysis .But since itâs not feasible as even after 6 days of delivery , I havenât given a single document of ownership of vehicle legally or number plate ( Purchase invoice was given but no proof to drive legally on road) so we had to drop the plan .So right now I asked them if they can send service engineer , to check for the parts , they said , we will see if any way we can get to check the condition .
