The Ather sales person from whom I had bought my 450s just shared a status about 8yesr extended warranty (or 80k km) on new 450x and apex series.
does anyone have any more information about it?

I saw a Instagram promotional post by Ather’s official handle mentioning the same. But Ather Battery Protect page on the website still shows 5.

Yooo never see Ather Website, It will not be Updated till the Next Warranty Policy Comes.
When I bought they promised me 3 Yrs Warranty on VEHICLE But Then said 30,000 KMs or 3 Yrs

I Purchased Ather 450X On 14th September 2024 , I Got WhatsApp confirmation messege about 8 years battery warranty but in Ather app still showing 5 years only. I Raised a ticket but “No response till now” Ticket #100807380. @tarun @smridhi.kalati

Hey Chintham!
You will receive a policy certificate with your extended warranty details within 30 days of invoicing. The same would also be updated in the Ather App within 90 days of invoicing.

Is there any option to extend the battery warranty for pro pack users of Rizta owners who bought it in late August on payment of â‚ą5000?

Even after 45 days and numerous reminders and calls to support team I still did not receive any documentation of 8yr warranty. The support ticket processor has stopped responding to my queries.
I have filed a consumer case against this incident. Its better handled legally.

Its been more than a month i bought apex still i didn’t recive any policy or anything related to extended warranty . I am eligible for 8 year warranty. And experience center people does not even know anything about when will it be updated in app . Still in my case 30 days over still nothing I recived so far

Bro expecting too much from Ather Energy
They should’ve made their new 8 year warranty a standard for scooters with pro pack purchase.
Maybe charge a little for their existing customers who have the 5 year warranty to get it for a nominal fee. Would’ve satisfied a lot of people IMO.

Agreed. But the new policy is applicable only for new Ather users. If they haven’t changed the battery being used in Ather scooters, then I don’t see why they can’t extend the warranty to existing users?
