What’s a service camp??
Service Camp is set by SC’s Where alot of Atherites are there but No SCs.
For Ex, Coimbatore to Ooty is about 90 KMs and No SCs there. But 20-30 Customers are there. So Ather will set a Camp and Do Service to the Customers.
service camp is false hope that you give customers that the service center is opening soon after the popup shop has sold hundreds of scooters but continue to ignore after sales experince and gather the whole town and surronding areas scooters in 1-2 day camp near a grid charger and charge extra for everything

My Journey with Ather 450X HR: A Small Disappointment Amidst Big Expectations
Hi Fellow Ather Enthusiasts,
I’m writing today with mixed emotions. Like many of you, I eagerly awaited the arrival of my Ather 450X HR, finally taking delivery on 7th June 2024. From the very first ride, it felt like a dream—smooth, stylish, and future-ready. Every ride reaffirmed that I’d made the right choice.
However, as much as I love riding my Ather, there’s been a small but significant letdown. The under-seat cushion panel, which should ideally be a durable component given daily usage, has already broken. It was disappointing to see such an important part crafted from fragile plastic, unable to withstand everyday handling.
Moreover, I’ve noticed issues with the ORVM mirrors. Their low placement has caused them to loosen repeatedly when parked beside other vehicles. Practically, I’m left using only the left mirror effectively, which isn’t ideal and definitely impacts the otherwise premium experience.
I deeply admire what Ather has created—a beautiful, high-tech, sustainable scooter that’s a pleasure to ride. Yet, minor quality oversights like this take away from what could otherwise be a flawless ownership journey.
Through this heartfelt message, I respectfully urge the Ather Team to consider this feedback. A stronger, more durable replacement for the under-seat plastic panel, and improved mirror placement, would not only fix my issue but also enhance the experience for the entire community.
I share this not out of frustration but out of care—because, as an early adopter and fan, I believe in Ather and want it to continue growing stronger.

Yeah Ather Seat Quality reduced a lot from the Gen 2 Quality. No Wonder
Ather has created a Beautiful Machine But They failed to Make Proper Sales to Make Good Profit So They decided to Reduce Quality
Gen 2 Mirror - 1,480 for a Single Piece
But Gen 3 Mirror costs 750 RS Something pp
So Imagine the Quality Diffs

guys i need to change my tyres. but the Ather guys are saying 800 for both tyre replacement!! I asked if it can be done with the 15k service so that I can get discount with labour and they said no. Is this really true? are the process that high? Is there anything I can do to dave costs?

Wheel Pulley has to removed and That Pulley have 5 Bolts, Each Cost 310 INR. So They have to be Careful about that.

Don’t Risk 5 Bolts Each Wheel that cost 310 INR (in total 3100 INR) and Wheel Pulley approx 2500 to save some 200-300

This happened to me too yesterday. Going to SC today. Hopefully it is covered under warranty.
I thought of posting my review as a comment here as my post is being withheld/ pending for couple of days in the forum.
Ather 450X is my first scooter purchased with my own money and I am a proud owner. Even to this date it is a good machine in the market, but i seriously doubt this statement will be true in the future. My recent experiences with the service center and charging grid leave a very bad impression.
During my 10k service, they said service plans weren’t available for to server issues and then they had even scratched my floating panel. Since i noticed my scooter immediately after service and brought this issue to attention, they replaced it after lot of confrontation and denying. Even the 10% festival labour discount which was available wasn’t applied. That was refunded later when i noticed it after reaching home. Even the service performed wasn’t satisfactory with the increased panel gaps and misalignment after headlamp adjustment, and belt noise was still same.
Coming to charging infrastructure, i understand that adding more chargers cost a lot of money. But i expect that Ather atleast maintains the existing chargers correctly and rectifies issues if any. I faced many such issues in Bangalore where chargers were faulty. My most recent being electronic city experience center. Even though there are chargers outside Ather center, both the chargers are not working. When complained to the person inside they say that issue was raised long time ago but still no one has come to rectify it. And like other frequently say, vida occupies the remaining few working chargers since they have few charging.
While my post was being withheld, a ticket was raised by Ather team for charging issue mentioned above. The reply was quick asking for basic questions and they said that they have taken charger offline. When I checked the app, I still saw that both chargers were still online. Ather giving out false updates. When i checked the same with them, they are now telling that the team will update and will take some time and repair grid. As of now I see that 1/2 chargers are shown as available while both were not working for me and another Atherite with Rizta.
These issues coupled with other issues like ageing hardware even in 2025 Ather doesn’t give a good future prospect.
Hope Ather takes these issues into account and helps enhance the overall experience to Atherites

Yeah, sadly they have forgotten the core customers who helped build the scooters and their reputation to what it is now, is being neglected big time.
My next scooter probably won’t be an Ather, just doesn’t feel the same anymore. The forums have turned into a customer discussion WhatsApp group.
No one from Ather interacts :\ (except Smridhi, who quietly moderates xD)
