Happy First Birthday Ather Forum! 
What an impressive journey it’s been so far. I hadn’t seen any other Indian Vehicle manufacturer who had interacted with their customers at such a personal level. Ather did it with their forum last year. No other company would probably make a customer as a moderator of their forum. But Ather has done it today.
I’m thankful that I’m part of this. More than anything else, I see this as an opportunity to learn. It’s just 1 year, but in that 1 year I’ve learnt so much…Be it about the product, or about their owners or the forum itself. I’ve made so many new friends. It’s just a happy coincidence that it’s friendship day today…and the moderator badge is like a friendship band.
However, the badge doesn’t make me any different. The discussion, the feedback, the banter and everything will continue the way it has been. I’m just another owner like the other 1000+ Athereans out there.
As Rudyard Kipling writes “For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.”; We are as good as each one of us. If Ather forum is a treasure of information today, each one of us is responsible for building up that treasure. Let’s keep contributing, let’s keep enriching the forum!
And yes, huge thanks to @Shreyas, @krishnan.warrier and the entire team at Ather for giving @rajeshkav and me this special opportunity.
Ok, I’m done with the vote of thanks… @Ather.Team when is the next OTA update coming? I want that dark mode

nice to see how community grew
some time ago, i use to refresh the page every hour to see if there are any posts!
as there are only 10 vehicles on the road and very little info available, there are very few posts
at times it use be a week for a post to pop-up
once I got vehicle i started posting 
later every one started getting their vehicles and now it is a strong community with crazy brains on-board
keep rocking…

Since the company is called Ather. Why not name the forum simply as Medium… Representative of the space time continuum fabric (its Ether or Aether but who’s counting). Also, why is it called Ather? Did i miss the story somewhere

Ather scooters are named as 450 and 340. Since the forum is active 365 days, probably it can be called 365 
People who were in Chennai have heard that story from @tarun and @swapniljain and its a secret

First of all, I am sorry for writing late on this thread. I was travelling a lot from a month+ , that took toll in my health.
Thanks to Ather team for giving this opportunity. Thanks to all well wishers in this forum who congratulated. It is a great journey so far and I really enjoyed. For me, journey with Ather did not start one year back, probably might have started way back in around 2014 when I was first started googling around. Then I got hooked with them when I attended their open houses. Good thing about them till today is that they engage with people, they hear to what we say. That is the primary reason why I am with them still. And today I feel I am also part of the Ather team.
I do not not know what I will do with the new title. First thing when I asked them when they came back with this offer is that what are DOs and DONTs? Shreyas said, there is nothing specific. In other words, our hands are not tied. Second point is that, we moderators do not have any extra access to any kind of extra information than regular users. Certainly we do not.Probably we are titled because we are part of this journey from quite sometime and we know the product to ‘some extent’. Few other obvious questions which might come to your mind, Are moderators paid? Do we have inside information? Can we influence your order/service to expedite? For all these, Answer is No. Then why are we moderators? It is just because of passion which is driving us to make a better society, a better living.
As of today, FAQ section is missing very much. I had alerted about this way back to Shreyas & Co. For better known reasons (?), it was not done so far and now it is an opportunity to do it. I/We are working on skeleton and hope to build sometime soon. As a part of it, we might pull some of you to join us too.
Other than this, we will are helping admin team to clear and organize the threads. Beyond this I/we have no idea what we will do next. However I am sure, it will evolve. It will evolve for better and of course, with all of your support and constructive feedback
