There’s no need for such a heavy battery pack in vehicles that operate in the city and have access to India’s largest charging grid right? But agree on removing active cooling.
I think having a scooter with around 150km real world range would be a nice addition to the existing portfolio of Ather lineup. It may also open up market for customers in places where there are no or minimal grids & buy Ather for its reliability. Because I see a good number of comments saying that the service center has closed or is far away,etc. My opinion is to have specs similar to Rizta and keep it low cost with bigger battery pack And later, maybe launch a bike with 200km+ range for enthusiasts
Bro For a Person like me literally need a Scooter with 150 KMs Range. So That I can easily come Bangalore in. 250% Times of Charge.

Sure, bigger batteries mean more miles, but they also make your scooter heavier and pricier. Ather’s idea should be to keep things light and affordable without sacrificing how far you can go.
Ather must focus on “More Plugs, Less Worry” concept and increase their charging grids.

5.1kwh is a massive battery pack which TVS has divided into 3 batteries that means its more unsafe incase of an accident as I qube chasis is already weak from front and many have broken already
they should should have done something like Ather how rizta is offering 125kms in smar eco with 3.7kw battery while having 2 belts
In a city like Delhi, even that seems less to me. Given the shortage of charging points in the route I want to commute, 200 kms is a fair option for marketing people like us. That’s why we purchased a 90 kmph speed with 100 km range. But we can go only 50 kms (as we also need to come back). With cities expanding and new roads and flyovers coming in, range increase is a must. IN FACT I WAS TOLD THAT THE BATTERY RANGE IS 150 KMS. THEY NEED TO EXTEND IT BY REMOVING PARTIAL LOCK, when I bought it.
in delhi we have less chargers how? i mean i travelled to the further ends of NCR and always found a charger… can you tell the route or area you are talking about?
