@smridhi.kalati @rohit.dalvi So, as of the end of 2024, there’s still no sign of Ather ChitChat, noise reduction, or music sharing for Halo, which were supposed to be rolled out by the end of September. The entire year is ending, but these features are nowhere to be found. So are these only for marketing or will they ever be rolled out to Halo users?

I know right. Imagine how incomplete the product had to be when they launched it back in April, that they are delaying it this much. Not only this, even the software of the Rizta also proves the same. (No dark mode, document visibility, crashes and freezing of dashboard)

Something big is not required. Will be happy if at least they give the features they advertised for HALO. Without those there is no purpose for this purchase.

I ordered Halo on 8th April 2024 and after a lot of follow up I got Helmet yesterday and guess what it’s not working. I have a loyal customer for so long time but now I have trust issues with Ather. I have recommended almost all family members for an Ather.
Hope you will look into issue sooner

People say that they are loyal to Ather after paying lakhs of rupees. I expect it in the opposite way, I see Ather is no longer being loyal to any of its customers

What exactly is not working. Is it not charging or not turning on ? What kind of charger are you using to charge it ?
Halo doesn’t get charge with regular chargers. You need a good PD charger to get it working.

The new Ather app update is out which enables Chit Chat and Music Sharing for Halo users. It also enables updates for the Halo. The halo had a software update which finished in about 5 mins. Need to check the Chit chat and music sharing.

Updated Halo and tried “Chit Chat” & “Music share” features. These features worked well as expected.
LED glows purple while Halo is updating and it took around 5 mins for the update. LED glows blue when two Halos are connected.

Tried CHIT CHAT feature for ~2 hours today.

It worked well even when other Halo was on different bike. It work flawlessly till around 10 mtrs distance between two bikes/Halos.

In between , I noticed one way connection few times between two Halos when other was Pillion. Other person was able to hear me but I wasn’t able to hear him. Restarting Halo fixed the problem.

Music played on either of phone can be heard in both Halos.

When a call is attended , incoming voice can be heard by only call receiver Halo.

If someone horns just beside you, it’s amplified and it sounds irritating.

Overall a good experience. Talking with other Person feels natural.

Got info from a customer whose Halo was picked up for replacement that Halo production is now outsourced, and the speakers are also being changed. There are no gray Halos in stock. There is a minimum one-month wait for a replacement Halo.
