Halo owners specifically with ‘L’ sized helmets, does it fit in Ather 450x boot?? I have placed an order, and now i got some reviews stating that this size doesnt fit into 450X boot. Can anyone confirm?? Cheers!!

@smridhi.kalati , I got a WhatsApp message that Halo is going to deliver on 8 Nov but still I am waiting for your delhivery agent to deliver. I am frustrated with Halo team and Dispatch team of Ather. Upon talking to this team, they promised that they will dispatch Halo next Monday after every conversation. In their opinion, They are delivering me an invisible Halo on every Monday. From this year onward, Ather has adopted a policy of over over over over over committing and under under under under under under under under under deliver with tag line “GREAT SERVICE NEVER WAITS”.

What is current Dhelivery status ? You can check it online on dhelivery website or app.
Dhelivery is usually slow in delivering parcels. Raise a ticket with delivery too , if pickup is done.

Yes even I am not able to keep it in my Ather 450x Gen 3.1 . I had bought a large size helmet and I am not able to keep it in my scooter😐

Actually, any 450 with the new seat cannot accommodate even the M size helmet (so Apex cannot hold the Halo😭)

Don’t worry, I am able to keep L size halo helmet in A450X boot. It will utilities all available spaces.

M size fits fine in the Gen3 boot, with First Aid Kit removed (it can be kept in the front or side or inside the helmet)

Got my Halo a week back and here is what i liked and disliked;
Starting with what i liked;
- Easy to pair and start up. The helmet auto pairs with the phone everytime you put on. So there is not additional buttons to be pressed each time. However the status of charge or connection is not visible on the Ather app.
- The sound quality is suprisingly good. You can expect the quality to be as of a open ear buds. There is good enough bass and clarity and the stereo separations is noticable. And the loundness is good too. But if you are on the high volumes you dont hear much or any vehicle noise around you. I keep it at 60% volume to be safe.
- The mic on voice call are pretty good. They are able to pick up only the voice and not the wind noice or the other traffic sounds.
Now to the things i dont like or things that could have been better :
- The build quality is pretty poor. The finish is not you expect from a 10k helmet.
- The innerliner are light in colour and its already dirty near the neck aera. With our indian dusty roads i think i should wash them every month now. On the older helmet i used to wash them every 2 months.
- The outer shell also get scuffs pretty easily and they dont go even after wiping with a damp cloth. I guess it wont age well.
- The fit over short distance ride is pretty okay to say the least. But if you are going out for a ride for more than 30 mins i started to notice that the padding near the forehead is causing a pain. For reference i got the 2XL sized helmet as per the measurement mentioned in their website. Definitely not the comfortable one. Added to the additional weight of the helmet its Definitely only for the short city rides.
- The vertical view from the hemlet is pretty poor.
- The helmet doesnt fit in the boot of the 450X. Its a tight fit. Maybe because of the 2XL size.
- As i said ealier the status of connection is not showing on the Ather app and the battery level is not visble in the app. However the status of charging is visble on the android Bluetooth setting page.
Overall i would rate it a 2.5 for 5.

I got to see this page only on the first time i paired. From then i never get to see this. However it doesnt matter since every function is available.

That’s weird. So you see still see Halo in your app with status as “disconnected”.

Guys can anyone suggest how to remove the inner paddings for cleaning as i tried but wasn’t confident enough that i can place it back
