What they did to resolve it?
Keech Keech repeated. I took the scooter 4 times between 30-35K service for belt noise troubleshooting. Every time they applied silicon spray and tells me that if it repeats then next time will change the belt. Sound was coming because the belt gets hardened since it is approx. 3 years old. Even when I asked them to change the belt they were not ready. They say that belt quality is good and there is no wear and tear. They suggested me to buy a Silicon Spray online and spray it regularly (once in a week).
Hey just wanted to know if you are still using AP3 grease for reducing belt noise??.
Has grease degraded the rubber in any way???
DO NOT USE GREASE.
It will cause slippery on belt teeth. The more you have friction the better. If noise is an issue follow these Telegram
it has actually protected the belt i think as my scooter has done 13k kms now always on warp with pillion and belt looks good to long way still, my cousin busted his gen 3 belt at 12k kms who bought it in same month as me
i tried silicon spray as suggested by SC but after like 100kms the belt sound returns⌠Let me try grease this time
Try applying little bit on side walls of belt
Avoid applying on actual teeth of the belt
Belt noise is the number 1 annoying thing about owning this scooter. On the past 3 years of ownership, faced it multiple times and every time the only solution that worked was when the SC reworked on the belt tension properly. They are always hesitant to do that, may be because it takes time and patience.
Which means after every service, you have to revisit the SC multiple times to make them admit that the tension needs to be adjusted properly. Which makes getting through each service the biggest hassle of ownership.

Belt is very much there, I sometimes use grease for it and it works. Still i think Ather should do something about it. Also greasing the belt in Rizta takes time.

Please use faducal silicone spray. I used grease and it will kill the belt
My Ather 450x 2024 model had some belt noise (screeching) for a few weeks then it started effecting the throttle. The throttle now cuts off in the middle of an overtake (dangerous). I thought this could be some software management for to over heating but this issue starts as soon as you start riding (not only on longer rides). I have observed half a dozen instances within a week.

Might be the reason where the belt rubbing with the rarepully wall. check it once.
Better Visit SC and Check the Throttle Sensor
