Hi I am moving from Hyderabad to Goa end of this month. I wanted to know if there is any special procedures for an electric vehicle when it comes to changing registration. If there is anyone who has an Ather and moved to the state, could you let me know about your experience? What is the road tax? Do the RTO officials hassle you? And would love to know what it’s been like riding in Goa. I am a bit worried about the maps on the dashboard because Goa has notorious connectivity in the hills and near the beaches.

AFAIK there is no road tax on EVs in Goa. So you just pay a few hundred rupees for registration. Alternatively just use with your existing registration. Cops don’t bother much.
