Update on the Multi purpose charger accessory for Riztas made after 2025!
I bought my Rizta in March 2026, and it had no power port connector in the boot. It had been removed and disabled on all Rizta scooters made 2026 onwards. That meant there was no way to connect the Multi Purpose Charger (also then listed on the Ather Shop website as “Not compatible with Rizta 2026 onwards”)
However, 3 months later in June 2026, the Ather Shop website has listed the MPC again, and this time, there’s a clear indication that newer the 2026 Rizta (and onwards) CAN have the MPC fitted as an accessory. I ordered one after contacting Ather Shop customer care and confirming that it can be fitted (at an Ather service centre as recommended by them).
I called 4 Ather service centres in Bangalore, and they were all clueless as to how to fit the charger as the scooter would have no power port under the seat in the boot. They said the part also was simply not available, and that the company hadn’t told them anything about this now being possible.
However, after the charger was delivered three days later, the package also contained the power port part, with the female connector to directly clip on to the make connector on the wiring harness!
I simply took my Rizta to an Ather service centre, and they fitted in under 10 minutes! Now the charger works great, and also does 15W fast charging via USB-C!

They reduced pricing to 499 from 999 to sell old stock direct setup 2025 model I wish I purchased at that time itself now pricing increased for everyone due to new part originally listed at 1299 selling at 799

Hi, can you share some photos after the MPC has been installed. Did they make any hole or how did they connect it to the battery

It was 18w fast charger (as I remember - the sc guy told me) in 2025 model. When it was available at boot. (adopter still has to buy at 499). But my pov - it was useless, at-least I did not used it since bought it (2.5 months running), at battery scooter we always live in fear and always try to save battery (dimming display brightness, not use high beam etc.),

Rizta z should too have all the features more than 450 or apex because rizta gave Ather sales shoot up

To clarify, the headlights should only be activated in dark conditions

Yes it’s very useful.
It seems like the screen light during your night ride might be a bit uncomfortable. Dark mode option could be really helpful!

But Ather doesn’t understand this their excuse is its FaMiLy scooter
Definitely need a dark mode. Meanwhile You can reduce the brightness … it works.
