Don’t worry too much about the brochures, as the official specs aren’t always updated immediately.
Real-world 6 kW charging speeds depend heavily on your vehicle and environmental conditions.
If you are experiencing slower speeds at a 6 kW grid point, it is usually because the Battery Management System (BMS) is protecting your battery due to high temperatures or cell voltage imbalances.
Additionally, Ather Energy clarified on X (formerly Twitter) [POST] that vehicles manufactured after August 2025 fully support Grid 3.0 to hit that 6 kW peak speed. However, keep in mind that local DISCOM approvals cause some grid locations to be intentionally capped at 3.3 kW. There are many variables at play, so just enjoy the ride!
