I did face same issue idle time power drained, I used to praise a lot about Ather to my friends, But this idle time power consumption is silently killing problem to Ather, if customer not happy their business will ruin.

I gave to SC April 1st week of 2024, post that I see this issues, I took vehicle to office it was 20% charge was there, the distance which i traveled around 7 km in ECO mode, I remember when I left vehicle almost 12% was there, after 9 hours when I back to start back to home, shock was just 1 % left…3km by walk I took vehicle, just thinking of did I do mistake buying this vehicle …

Something is wrong with your battery if it drained to 1% from 12% in 9 hours. Go back to the SC and get the battery checked.

Yes battery SOH or something is balanced till you go to SC use incognito mode wherever it is possible don’t use it in public place because if someone tows vehicle then you will not get notification but in your parking you can use I also use it getting great results by using that mode.

Get the battery checked from SC, seems like cell balancing issue. That’s not normal.

I’ve started shutting down the scooter at night and when parking for extended periods of time. Since I started doing this, I’m happy to see that I’m getting the promised true range from a full charge, if not more.

To me, the connectivity features are absolutely not worth the ~15-20% that I would lose on every charge if I don’t shut down. One thing that I like about Ather is that even when the display is booting up from a shutdown, the vehicle remains operational so I can get going quickly without waiting for it to boot up.

How are you losing 15-20%?? I’ve only lost 3% max overnight

I meant over a full charge, not overnight. A full charge typically lasts me about a week since my daily trips are shorter. In my case, the idle drain adds up to have a noticeable impact on my range if I don’t shut down.

I think it is bad to shutdown daily at night, I think it is better to just leave the charger connected

You are right i am observing the same for Ather rizta bought in end of april 2025. The battery is draining @ 8 - 10% per day that is huge amount of energy. And the agency person saying its normal. It seems the Ather has recuited ineligible personals. My rizta is giving only 40 km per charge inplace of 123 claims. Let us consider 30% of same even than it should run 70 to 80 km per charge @ 40 kmph. But it is not. I think this is very serious technical issue and there is no proper quality control in Ather.

3 percent overnight is huge. are you nuts? the drain should be max 0.2 percent. it seems you are not running a tablet you are running a full tv.

its better to not to by Ather as energy consumption is not a par with any standard and company may be spying on us. further china may be syping on us.
