The design of the scooter is such that the battery will not be the first to take the impact on a speed breaker but the panels and the frame around it.
Also, the suspension and ground clearance of the 450 are designed to be much higher than conventional scooter to avoid any bottom impacts.
On rare occasions where there is a central impact to the battery it is protected by its die-cast Aluminium shell.
