I bought 450x LR last year in April. Since i bought the vehicle i am satisfied with all other features except head light. I am from Sirsi which is in malenad area. Roads are curvy and narrow roads. Also i travelling mostly in rural areas. At night lights are not sufficient. Headlight hardly goes 30 - 40 meters. Max speed we can achive in night is 30 to 40 kmph (safe speed). In rural areas animals crossing the road is common. Also a person walking along the road is also not visible till we reach near 20 to 30 meters. It may cause accident. This headlight setting is good for city roads (inside the city). @tarun please upgrade the headlights to bright one from new models. And lso give option to upgrade for older version in service centres.

I would say it is NOT good for cities either. It is only good when you are in pitch dark. I mean, any light works when it is pitch dark. Ather’s headlamp throw isn’t wide enough. Maybe…maybe you can get it adjusted horizontally from SC but I’m not sure if it is the solution you are looking for. I had an issue where the headlamp in high beam sent the light to the level of overhead traffic lights and got it sorted at SC.

This is very true, Not sure why Ather is manufacturing two wheelers with very low lighting positioned at the bottom of front portion and the light focus doesn’t change angle while taking turns, very dangerous to drive in nights with so poor lighting.
