Hi Chandan! Let’s turn this around together. DM us your Case ID or registered contact details, and we’ll work on resolving your issue with a positive attitude and determination!
Thanks. No worries — I figured out the issue myself.
For anyone facing the same problem with the Halo Bit: Press and hold all 3 buttons together for around 10 seconds. The device reboots and starts working again.
What disappointed me was the support experience. The issue was under “investigation” for the last 2–3 days, while I was able to fix it myself within minutes.
Honestly, the current support flow feels more like basic customer care logging tickets rather than actual technical troubleshooting. WhatsApp support and call support mostly just collect details and say “we’ll look into it.” Real technical assistance seems to happen only over email.
The Ather app ticket support experience is also frustrating. Tickets remain open for days without updates, and then suddenly there’s a call asking, “Is the issue resolved?” instead of actively helping resolve it quickly.
I bought Ather because of the strong service reputation the brand once had, but lately I’m seeing a noticeable decline in support quality. I genuinely hope Ather doesn’t end up going down the same path as Ola in terms of after-sales experience.
Also, another issue: After the latest Stack Pro update, incoming phone call notifications on the dashboard seem to have stopped working. Because of this, I now have to stop the scooter, check my phone manually, and answer calls directly from the phone.
One of the main reasons I use the Halo Bit is because it makes attending important calls easier while riding in Bangalore traffic. Most riders here know how inconvenient it is to stop repeatedly just to check who’s calling.
Anyway, you can close this ticket/thread since I managed to resolve the Halo Bit issue myself.
Hope the feedback helps improve the support experience going forward.
