Great experience owning an Ather

I am a proud owner of Ather 450x since 1 month, i was very much skeptical of owning an ev, however i was following Tarun and Swapnil very closely by watching their interviews and podcast, in some of the instances i felt they were so confident in their vision and having great conviction on their home grown tech. I got persuaded by their dream though they are selling their scooter (premium performance scooter). there are many anecdotes to it. I had visited 4 - 5 times in their experience Centre and one was just before purchasing Suzuki Access 125. Sales team was so focused and professional in their work, they were so humble that they did not change my decision to buy access 125. because back of the mind they were aware that this person may be someday be an Ather’s customer. I haven’t wrote such a detailed write up even after owning multiple 2 wheelers, the proud i feel of owning one of the best ev scooter in the world and it is proudly made in India.

i have been a keen observer for automotive engineering, I am a avid automobile enthusiast. this is 7th scooter in the family and 1st EV . there are few feedbacks needs to be provided to the tech or R&D team for magictwist feature - this feature is amazing to slow down the speed of my Ather. i felt sometimes if there are some reverse thrust (turbines are reversed to slow down the aircraft) :airplane_arrival:. similar to which on roads when we apply magic twist - the tail light (break light) should glow and intimate the fellow motorist behind the Ather that the vehile is about to slow down (just like when we use disk breaks the tail light will glow). I have also observed that after using magic twist i rarely use the physical disk breaks, all my speed controls i use magic twist extensively.

there are many more feedbacks such as there is lots of refinement needed in correct calibration of auto cut off indicators. Also, the horn acts weird (does not sound like horn - it sounds like donkey sound) :joy:

When we park the vehicle in an office parking the 2 wheelers are parked very close by and there is risk of scraping the side panels from the handle bars or other parts of other vehicles. which causes Ather to look old. please redesign the side stand and make it less lean on earth .

All the best Team Ather, make India more proud. :ok_hand:
