I have 450 plus gen 3 and I think out of the above new features announced under Atherstack 6 I will only get- 1.Costing Regeneration 2.ping my scooter(if it’s not through Bluetooth mechanism)
WhatsApp on dash, location sharing,call decline with messages will not be available since it’s through Bluetooth only.

Well 450s has Bluetooth, but they are still not providing those features to 450s

@tarun Hey, could you please explain why this is the case? Atleast ping my scooter could be pushed. For a product that is not even a year old at this point.

They often say it like that but mean only the x vadiants. Wish that clarified it meant the S variant as well

In the post above, they have clearly mentioned the features like live sharing,call decline and ping my scooter will not be available for 450S. Swapnil says it will be for all 450 series, but I suppose they do not consider the 450s as part of the series.

Bro as far as I know, the 450s has a difference SoC and a different operating system. So it makes sense why these features would initially be unavailable. Developing for such a small pool of scooters would not be worth the money I guess.
Maybe down the line, when they sell enough 450s’, maybe they reconsider and push an OTA?
Another reason could be, most 450s buyers actually got it for the practicality and simplicity, not the smarts or features. The target audience is different I believe

This feature is already available in the gen 4. Is it something hard to bring to gen 3.x, which requires a software update? Few of the people already experienced with their gen 3.x scooters.
Why it takes these much time to change a flag? Isn’t something similar to ESS, given to previous gens without a software update?

Atherstack 6 is going to be disappointing for old users who have experienced UI rehauls so Coasting Regen will make up for it.
New owners have never even seen a proper update so its fine.

Coasting regen will require to re-flash the firmware, something they want to make absolutely sure that it will work OTA. Maybe that’s why they are busy testing?!
Or maybe they want to push it with stack6.0. So it won’t be double work, sending C.R. then again the 6.0.

I assume the firmware is same for all 450 versions and Ather enables or disables the features from server side.
Moreover it was enabled for few gen 3 vehicles and rolled back. It’s there for long and just delayed without any reasons.
