8 years battery warranty
GST cut proposal will give 1.5 lac price cut.
Interest subsidy will make this literally interest free EMI.
I wish FAME subsidy was there to make it affordable.
Proposed Road tax should bring more price cuts.

Don’t fall for the range figures (452 KMs). ARAI is using probably the most incompetent system to check range for EVs. The same variant (39.2 kWh battery) gets 289 KMs range as per European standards.
Still Kona is among the most efficient EVs in the world. Also, good to see 8 year, 160,000 KMs warranty on battery. Pricing is also on par with rest of the world and not inflated for India.

True, Coimbatore has been breeding ground for many EVs over last 20 years …
But no great products have come… Good funding and partnerships could have helped it.
I have seen many EV dealerships and villagers using it, which is often low speed low range models at affordable price

Beauty of electric transport, it opens a new segment of two wheelers where Motorcycle and scooter can be completely combined without compromising either of the plusses from both the vehicles.
