July end payment window and August 1st/2nd week delivery… not my prediction… the timelines mentioned by customer care due to backlogs in deliveries…

Kindly someone from the support get us an update for the commencement of deliveries as it’s already mid May and my delivery is scheduled for May 2019
And from what I’ve learnt from the conversation with Ather Customer Care after final payment it would generally take 14-15 working days for charger installation and delivery of vehicle!
Then kindly open my payment window so that all other procedures can be done like home charging point installation etc and right after recieving the physical copy of FAME II you can prepare for invoicing and RTO registration and delivery!
Kind request you guys to deliver my vehicle within this month as this experience is testing our patience like anything!

Haha… True that. Ather is just as interested in getting us our vehicles. No point bugging them on a daily basis…When they have an update, we’ll be the first to know.

When the payment window opens… Can we partially pay via credit card and remaining amount via debit card?
I spoke to Ather support today and they asked for another 2-3 business days time to get the paper work completed after which they can start registration and invoicing.
My charging point installation was completed last week. So I’m hoping I will be able to take delivery by next week.

My order ID is 2073. The initial delivery date was scheduled for march but I pushed it to April as I wanted to wait for FAME 2 and I was also traveling in march. Finally made the lease downpayment on Apr 5th.
The wait is perplexing, but I guess that’s the pain of becoming an early adopter.

No. Anyone who has made the payment on or after April 1st will qualify for the FAME 2 Subsidy (27k). I’m still waiting to hear from Ather / Autovert on how they will adjust the 5k.
Either it will be adjusted against the deposit and will be refunded, or it will be adjusted in the monthly payment.
To clarify, I’m still waiting for the delivery. My dashboard says May 15th - 21st.
Actually I think you may have missed something here. The subsidy doesn’t apply for vehicles taken on lease. For a lease, I believe you have to pay in installmentst with the full vehicle price as base.
Where did you hear this? The subsidy is provided by the government under FAME for the vehicle. It has nothing to do with the mode of payment. I have already discussed this with Ather and Autovert. They have confirmed the 5k will be refunded.
The 22k subsidy for FAME 1 was already included in the lease payment calculations. The only question now is how they will refund the 5k additional subsidy.
