Yes, it does remain the same, with no major price revisions. However we might make price adjustments to account for inflation.

Youâre right, we do have the same hardware, but weâre taking a loss on the Plus variant. If enough people express interest in the Plus variant, weâll consider making different hardware variants later on. It basically boils down to being able to offer two variants with different features.

Glad 450x doesnât have this issue.
For 450, We were asked not to use shutdown so we stopped using. Now we wonât get issue. How will you fix it then? 
I mean once you confirm we can start using shutdown then we can.

Can you explain about the exit plan? Are you going to reduce the tenure to 3 years ?
And will the vehicle will be working in pro pack all the time after I exit from the plan ?
Is there any charges that a customer should bear to exit?

@Ather.Team Guys wouldnât it be much simpler if you included all the features of the Ather One to the Pro pack? Just make it easy and simple for all of us? And itâll make the pill much easier to swallow for the end consumer? Instead of having a monthly subscription and then again an annual subscription for service and home charging?
People who go with the old purchase method can go the annual subscription route of the Ather connect and other usual annual plans.

As Per your Plans , if i choose Upfront - i need to pay 1.6 L + minimum of 500 per month. If I choose Subscription pricing - i need to pay 99k + either 2k/1.7k per month. My understanding is both plans (upfront and subscription plans) includes monthly payment to keep scooter active.
As the subscription prices are already on the expensive side can we expect the upcoming ather one plans for 450X much lower than that for 450 ??

Seems redundant if one uses the packs 
Service and home charging(reimbursement) are the only 2 things that arenât on the packs
Tarun in 450x launch event said that installing 3rd party application is possible
It was promised during Ather 450 bookings that it will be compatible with future battery packs. Will 450X face same issue when newer/upgraded battery pack starts selling? even though we are ready to pay for new battery, if itâs not compatible donât you think the vehicle will become obsolete after say 6 years?

Hey Siddharth, if you purchase up front, you have to get the Ather Charge plan at a cost of 400 rupees per month (excl. GST 18%) to be able to access the smart & connected features (data services, navigation, over-the-air updates, etc.) and unlimited fast-charging at Ather Grid. If you do not go for this, you wonât be able to access these smart and connected features.
If you go for the performance pack model, the cost of Ather Charge is subsumed in the cost of Plus pack (1699 rupees incl GST) and Pro pack (1999 rupees incl GST).
The 3 years figure youâre mentioning is the duration of the vehicle warranty and battery warranty and doesnât have any relation to Ather Charge or performance pack models.

Pause, Snooze, Change of Plans - Really not sure how many can decide their need upfront for the entire month.
In the Plus, were not paying for the Bluetooth is what your saying. And youâre giving it away at a loss. But the fact is my scooter will have Bluetooth forever if I buy it outrightly and Iâll never be able to use it. How is that viable? Us using Bluetooth or not using bluetooth after buying the scooter outright does not affect ather right ? So why limit it. .I understand the intention of making it close the 450 but isnât it logical to let us use it?

While the monthly performance packs already include connectivity features and Athergrid charging access built in the pricing, thereâd be Atherconnect for customers who buy upfront separately.
Since the fast charging benefits can be availed only on Ather grid points, it made sense to include these in the pricing.

Hacking is only probable if a person is shallow. people are going to be co-operative and sensible in the future⌠Trust will prevail.
We recommend you use shutdown mode as a vacation mode. The occurences of this issue are very low, hence weâre fixing it if it occurs.

Why not just allow the customers to choose what features they need and pay for that instead of pro or plus or any other plans ?
I.e why not like DTH plans ? So that the customers will only pay for what they use
Ah sorry, should have been clearer. Third party applications via play store and other common Android app marketplaces cannot be installed. When we open it up to developers, applications written will go through a strict vetting process by Ather so that it conforms to our privacy, security and safety standards.
