Chennai is very humid and has salt in the air, does the aluminum frames have any additional protective coating to prevent corrosion?

Aluminium actually holds up much better to salt/saltwater as compared to steel. We have done a lot of saltwater testing to ensure all the vehicle parts are able to withstand it

There is no need for any additional coating on the frame.
