BMW Motorrad is launching its CE 04 Electric Scooter in India on July 24. Pre-Launch Bookings have Already Started. Expected to be Priced at Rs 10 Lakh, It might be the Most Expensive Electric Scooter in India.
At this Price, the CE 04 costs more than Some Electric Cars like the MG Comet EV Rs 6.99 Lakh and Tata Tiago EV Rs 7.99 Lakh. It’s also Close to the Price of the Tata Punch EV Rs 10.99 Lakh. Even Ultraviolette have its F77 Recon Mach 2 with Added All Features Costs Rs 6 Lakh Approximately.
The CE 04, Introduced in December in India, has a Long, Low Design with a Rising Frontend. It features a Flat Seat, Sharp Body, and Twin Headlights. The Scooter has a Steel Frame, a Telescopic Fork in Front, and a Single Side Swingarm at the Rear.
It has 15 Inch Wheels and 265 mm Disc Brakes. The Scooter’s Dimensions are 2285 mm in Length, 855 mm in Width, and 1150 mm in Height, with a Seat Height of 780 mm, Which can be Increased by 20 mm with an Optional comfort seat.
The CE 04 has all LED Lighting, a 10.25-inch Digital Display with Navigation and Connectivity, Performance Data, EV-Specific Details, and Dual Channel ABS. Optional Features include Dynamic Traction Control and ABS Pro (Wow Feature)
The Scooter has a 9 kWh Battery (The CE-04’s Battery Tech derived from Its EV Car Line Up it seems) and a Liquid-Cooled Electric Motor, Providing 41 BHP and 62 Nm of Torque. It can go from 0-50 KPH in 2.6 Seconds, with a Top Speed of 120 Kph. It has a range of 130 km and can be fast-charged in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Type - 2 Charging Technology is used in this Scooter.
