This is not a Final Stable version of Ather stack 6. Beta Software are called Beta for a reason. I not taking anyone’s side
I haven’t seen any scooter immovable or not starting after the beta update, haven’t heard of anyone’s brakes not working after the beta updates. So the Basic functions of the Scooter has been working very clearly
Ather hasn’t Insisted you to join the beta programme. Its for taking the feedback about bugs or any issues and correcting it before releasing the stable update. Wait until the stable update and if the issue still persist that can be considered as a real problem
Ather dashboard just updated to AtherStack 6, but mobile app is still on 10.0. Can’t seem to connect to bluetooth, tried unpairing but can’t add the scooter again. There is a QR code on the pairing menu on the dashboard which opens a website which just asks you to redirects to login page on the Ather website. Charging is also glitching, it has 50% charge right now but for some reason the charger keeps unlocking and locking, and sometimes even goes to verifying update. Tried restarting but the problems still remain.
Secondly, another observation regen(both coasting and forced{with coasting off in settings}) now activates from 90-89% SoC as opposed the prior activation point of 85-84% SoC.
So they didn’t gave me beta when i signed up for it. But pushed stable within 2 or 3 days of cancelling beta.
I wish there was an option to not install updates.
Also didn’t received Ather app update so can’t connect bluetooth
Also what’s new in this stable update i don’t know. No Coasting regen present in stable. Everything looks same as before.
got the new patches for app and scooter update today
for those who have alexa speakers at home it might be good but cant seem to get any other command working other than this even the once shown in community day slideshow
as soon as updated I warped till 60 the fan turned on loud but havent felt it after that but regen in warp now feel same powerful as in smart eco above 30kmph
forced regen is still crap and doesnt make scooter stop
Not taking anyone’s side but prior to beta , there’s alpha version which is shared to lesser number of people within the organisation for testing and once that passes then only beta version is released to a larger number of community users.
So ideally beta shouldn’t impact the existing features but the new features might work or not which is the point of testing and for which is released to actual community users.
People opting as part of beta testing are aware that the new features might not be completed or half baked and based on their feedback it gets tested. So blaming users for half baked beta version is not proper since there’s series of testing happens before being released for beta. @tarun , @abhishek.balaji there’s no need to hurry the public announcements then giving users half baked software updates.
