Hey folks!

AtherStack 7 is our biggest upgrade to our technology stack that powers all magical experiences on the Ather, and is designed to make technology more mainstream and intuitive for riders by introducing a new medium of interaction with the scooter via voice. Unlike traditional voice assistants, it uses natural language capabilities, enabling easier interactions. It can proactively alert riders to share live location, update them on tyre pressure, and other important information.

Here’s everything you need to know about the features and backward compatibility of Atherstack 7 that was announced at Ather Community Day 2025.

Voice on Ather:

The ‘Voice on Ather’ feature in Atherstack 7 is an all-new AI-powered voice assistant that allows you to interact with your Ather using natural voice commands for navigation, vehicle settings, and media controls with your Halo or Halo Bit.

Proactive Voice Interactions:

With proactive voice interactions, your Ather will alert you with critical alerts through voice, such as warning you about bad patches or potholes, safety prompts, unsafe parking alerts (ParkSafe), etc.

Pothole Alerts and smooth route suggestions:

The Pothole Alert feature helps alert you to any road impediments, such as potholes, speedbreakers, and rough roads while navigating, designed for every road condition. With smooth route suggestions, you get information on road quality conditions once you search for your destination on the dashboard.

LockSafe:

The ‘LockSafe’ feature is a security measure designed to enhance the anti-theft capabilities of your Ather. It gives you remote control of your Ather, the ability to cut off the motor remotely from the AtherApp, and immobilize your vehicle.

Remote Control:

With the ‘Remote Control’ feature, you can now control the charging of your Ather through the AtherApp. If your Ather is charging at home, a charging grid, or your friend’s house, you can stop the charging of your scooter remotely, without physically having to unplug its charger. You can also shut down your Ather with a simple tap on the AtherApp.

Multi-language Dashboard:

The Multi-language Dashboard feature is an update primarily for the Rizta Z. Its main purpose is to make the scooter’s digital interface more accessible and personal for our riders. It allows you to interact with your Ather in your preferred regional language. The supported languages include:

Hindi (Live), Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and other regional languages follow.

Crash Alert:

The ‘Crash Alert’ feature is designed to provide immediate assistance in the event of an accident to inform your close ones if you are in such a situation. The Ather uses its built-in sensors to automatically detect if a severe fall or crash has occurred, after which an alert is sent to 3 pre-saved emergency contacts, including your live location, to ensure you can be located quickly.

To assist bystanders at the scene, your Athers dashboard displays the emergency contact details that were set up by you.

This ensures that even if the rider is unconscious, family or close ones can be immediately informed.

Ather ParkSafe Alert:

The ‘ParkSafe Alert’ feature aims to protect riders from the hassle of having their vehicle towed. When a rider attempts to park their scooter in a risky zone, the system issues an immediate alert on your smartphone or dashboard.

Cricket Scores on Dash:

The ‘Cricket Scores on Dash’ feature brings real-time match updates directly to your Athers dashboard.

While riding: This feature is designed with safety in mind. While riding, only limited data, such as the score, is visible in the bottom corner of the dashboard to avoid distraction.

While halted: The full scorecard with a more detailed breakdown of the match is viewable when the scooter is stopped or parked.

I understand that the UI for Rizta has been designed differently to improve accessibility, which is appreciated. However, it would be helpful to include important features like Dark Mode. Additionally, some Rizta users may prefer the same UI layout as the 450 series. Please consider offering at least a basic level of customization so users can choose the layout that suits them best. :grinning_face:

Add an option to put the incognito mode behind a password, with the older Rizta UI, it was tucked deep inside the menu, but now with Touch, it is the first thing that is shown in the quick access menu. What is the whole point in location tracking and other connected tech if someone can just scroll down and turn off all its connectivity from the dash itself. If it so hard to do that on the embedded screen, remove it from the scooter and enable it only via an app. At the moment, incognito is the most stupid and unthoughtful implementation of a feature.Anyone whom I give my bike can turn it off and take my bike anywhere, if that was the case why did pay so much for pro pack and Ather connect.

Gen 2 Ram is 50% lesser than Gen 3

Bro they have they the public data about potholes which was collected already why cant they just show the route alone in maps it doesnt require any extra ram

Very disappointing for the 450S series. I bought my Ather about a year and a half ago, and there have been no major updates or announcements about anything new. Is anything even coming for the 450S? Also, the features coming in Stack 7 are pretty useless — it feels like Ather has completely forgotten about the S series.

gen 4 450x here got the update around a month ago, as you might’ve already guessed nothing’s changed, except the cricket scores on the bottom right corner which I don’t care for

is there a lag when dashboard switches from motor on to off when you hit kill motor switch? its annoying af
