Ather Stack 7 *** Conceptual UI ***

Hi everyone, it’s time to start again fresh with the next update for Ather Stack 7.

After spending 30 minutes, I’ve created this conceptual UI for Ather Stack 7. If anyone is good at creating UIs, your concepts are welcome here.

Let us hope that we get new UI atleast in Ather Stack 7 .

We can only hope :joy: no option as they have not changed the UI in Stack 6 :joy: took 3 months for that update its big time but they have no plans on new UI I think.

honestly this looks very cluttered with high contrast enabled and reminds me of Simple one settings menu

Current rizta ui in looks and Move OS 4 in functionality are best

Best if Ather open-sources or allows custom flashing ROMs. As long as it keeps the core vehicle control read-only, that will be the best.

rizta just launched and underneath its completely same from proccessor, unless Ather wants to abandon it we should still get normal upgrades like whatsapp notifications or app related support etc for 450x but I dont expect UI to change but minor adjustments cause stack 5 took year to be stable

Rizta noticed below issue 1or 2 times daily:

Rizta screen sometimes not switching on/ taking some minute to get it on, sometimes motor getting off while riding.

Ather should improve day time readability.

Ather relies on Jio network for connection and maps. However Jio network is not strong everywhere. There should be an option to configure wifi with a feature to enable and disable wifi. Advantages:

  1. Where there is low connectivity, one can use Hotspot from their mobile.
  2. People living in independent houses can connect to their home wifi enabling better updates and downloads. Both of the above will help to reduce battery consumption.

I was told by the service center that wifi would use more battery. However, this is not true. Using data on mobile network uses more battery than on wifi. When travelling, the mobile tower signal becomes low. The device would use extra battery to try to boost the signals. Thus using more battery when on mobile data than when on wifi. Wifi can be set to turn off when no connectivity is detected for some time and out of a Geo location like in smartphones.
