Yes rooted - from my very first galaxy y to my current OP13. Older versions of Ather app worked just fine on the same device, this root detection is new.

Don’t know and don’t care, this is infuriating. All my positivity about Ather came down crashing as soon as i saw this error. I fucking hate Ather to the core now.

I had been using my iPhone jailbroken about 2 years ago. I can’t remember which one, but some UPI app worked just fine. However most others threw an error. Even banking apps like ICICI’s iMobilePay refused to open!
But then my OS crashed and boot looped, so I was forced to upgrade to the latest iOS and no jailbreak anymore. Can’t even roll back iOS upgrades on Apple devices

UPI apps work but most banking apps dont if it detects a rooted device. Only reason why I stopped using custom mods & rooted apps
