Maintenance is required only at 5K,10K intervals. Otherwise there is no other cost other than regular charging.
Service cost is around 850 fixed cost, to be done at every 5000 kms. Additional cost for any spare parts like break pad, lubricants, etc if required.
Those are just 1 in a thousand cases. Since an average Ather buyer is actually more likely to use the forum, be on the internet its just more common to see the complaints. Your average Dio buyer has no where to complain and discuss.
You can go for the Ather eyes closed🤗 you just have to ensure you don’t leave the battery discharged for prolonged periods (ie a few weeks max).
Even I went for Ather only because of the tech and EV hype. This was my first scooter and originally my plan was to get a used Activa (<₹30k) instead no regrets going with Ather
But if we shutdown battery for long time will it create issues with the battery ?
50+ as an avg/day of the month is a better representation as some weeks you would not even ride it but for the weeks that you do you probably might have an higher avg running.
In my own example I feel I don’t ride it much on a week to week basis but somehow have already clocked 15000 in 1.5 years.
Nope, shutdown for a long time shouldn’t have any issues as long as battery doesn’t discharge fully

I’ve been experiencing some weird issue with my scooter recently, when I turn the handle to take a turn and go back straight the scooter kind of pulls me slightly to the side. I’ve clocked around 4.7K kms on odo. I can feel that it’s definitely from the front wheel of the scooter. Also the scooter has never fell down or been in any kind of accident. I’ve rode my friend’s gen 4 who has clocked around the same kms on odo and he doesn’t have this issue. I maintain the company recommended tire pressure F-30 and R-32. Can anyone help me with what’s causing this problem?
I have been having the same issue for a couple thousand kms. Currently at 13.5k kms, I’m planning to show it at the 15k service.
It’s probably because an XUV5OO driver texting and driving, brake-checked me and I rear-ended him a while ago.

Dear Ather Owners What are the consequences of burning the Ather in front of there showroom ?? The worst support from Ather and too much humiliating the customers.
I’m experiencing a serious problem with my Ather charger. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? My Ather charger, along with some home appliances, was damaged by lightning. I contacted the service center (Kannur Kerala), assuming it would be covered under warranty. However, they claimed the damage was due to rat bites on charger, thus voiding the warranty. They also stated that the charger isn’t covered by insurance. Consequently, they’re insisting to purchase a new one.
The core issue is that a replacement charger only comes with a one-year warranty and isn’t covered by insurance either. This raises the question: if the same lightning damage occurs again, am I expected to spend ₹14,000 annually on a new charger?.
Can’t Prevent this from Happening again??

Loss of Your Money and Time. Donno How much Insurance will come for these Kind of Damages. Consult a Lawyer and Insurance Agent. But I suggest you to not do anything like that and Stress Yourself for the sake of 14k INR

Will I expect any service centres or experience centre near uppal, boduppal Hyderabad 500039, because in Nagole there is a service centre but it’s too far from us please open new service centre in uppal or boduppal, atleast near hubsuguda.

Nowadays Service Jobcard itself suggest the SC Team to Change Battery. So If Your battery have Range Issue, Then Opening a JC will let us know the Status.
