An 'e-motion'al connect - Hemanth's Ather 450

How do we know what is our bike scooter manufactured number? Is there a way to do that?

Yes even I wanted to know…

Anything linked to chassis number and engine number?

I was told by Ather that the last digits of the chassis number is the best indicator of the vehicle number (which can be seen in the storage area under the rubber cap)

Yes, i faced the same issue and shutdown and turn on fixed it. I had reported the same in last open house meet up (23 june 2019). @Shreyas and Pradeep (from Customer support team ) please check this out. Its not just me then…

Immediately after a waterwash, my 450 sounds different…like somebody is trying to kill it by holding its neck and submerging it in water. It sounds like that for 15-20 mins till the wind dries it up. Hope this is common…

Captured this ODO reading on Saturday. It was a coincidence that I had stopped the vehicle at this reading!

9mins to cover 1.6kms… no wonder you were stopped. Reminds me of an instance when I saw a pedestrian leaving the office same time I left in my car, and we both reached the big Bazaar signal (1km away) at the same time!

That is really fast …
Last week, it took me 27mins for 1 Km :frowning: This was while trying to exit Eco World. Believe me, i find Silk board much better these days.

Nice capture :+1:

I observed last week that my scooter’s boot lamp is turning yellow on one side. It was uniformly white earlier.
Have anybody else observed or faced this issue?

Could it be dust or grime on the inside of the lamp diffuser? I’ve never really seen a led yellow out due to ageing.

No, that was exactly my thought… I wiped it to confirm that it wasn’t the case.

I was thinking UV degradation, but it’s on the inside of the seat. I can’t explain how it could get exposed to sunlight.

Why isn’t the average ride speed not equal to total ride distance divided by the total ride time?

Maybe it uses the recorded ride data to generate the average instead of distance/time. In city conditions that number can skew a lot if you are stuck in the infamous jams and signals for a long time.

Yesterday evening Half a kilometre before the scooter reached home, it reached a major milestone…

PS: Credits to the current ride timing goes to the infamous Silk board junction ! :ok_man:

Now that it has crossed the 5k kms mark, I called up the Customer care and booked for the first service. The scooter will be picked up tomorrow.
