Hey Guys, Received my helmets today.
Here are some initial impressions imo:
Pros:
- The fit is really good for me. I booked the XL version and its really comfortable.
- The sound quality is really good.
- The auto detect feature works like a charm.
- Looks very premium.
- Checked the call and mic quality and it seemed decent.
- The home wireless chargers are really good.
Cons:
- The volume from the music is very low.
- The sound system doesnt feel like Harman Kardon but it basically feels like a Portronics sound system.
- The washability aspect of the helmet cushions is questionable and also had a tough time removing the cushions.
- The helmet shell doesnt feel like a 14k shell, its similar to any DOT certified 1k helmet.
- The USB cable is really hard to insert into the module.
- The interior cables are very very poor quality and not sure how they went forward with such a poor quality wires for a 14k helmet.
These are just my initial impressions, where im yet to test the Adaptive Noise Cancellation feature.
Overall:
Its an okayish helmet which cudve been better, but considering this is the first version of the helmet, Ather will need a lot of improvements if they are planning for a Halo V2. Finally, is it worth 14k, definitely NO. 8kā¦?? Debatableā¦ 4kā¦ YESā¦ 4k is the maxā¦!!

10k for a helmet that is ISI certified is rubbish.

Donāt know why but music volume is too low itās like earphones working at full blast itās barely audible. Call volume is okay in normal traffic but heavy traffic call volume is not adequate. They need to fix these 2 issues using OTA update. Visor if kept opened doesnāt start lock at all. It keeps on closing which is annoying.

Even 4K for the bare bone safety that it might provide seems like over paying, leave impact resistance we donāt know if itās even decent at roll mitigation. Mostly might get to know if someone cracks their neck or spinal column. This helmet feels like a legal nightmare which will someday bite Ather by its balls.

Think of it in this angle as well, you are paying 14k for basically a helmet that has a hole in it but covered by the smart module. That might change the entire perspective of the helmet.

Exactly, helmatās first priority is safety not the features. 13k for a ISI certified helmet is not making justice anywhere.

So I received my Halo today morning.
The material quality used in the product is pretty good for 6.5k.
The Fit and Finish is not up to the mark. For example gum of the Velcro is visible, Velcro doesnāt stick properly, plastic near the forehead vent is a little flimsy. 
Comfort level is very good once we wear the helmet. But putting the helmet on is a little pain because of the thickness of the cushions. 
My size is XL. I doubt it will change much for XXL.
Sound quality is something that I didnāt expect to be so goood. Microphone and call quality is excellent.
Battery life is great. Used for 2 hrs and percentage went down by ~1%.
Completely announced feature set is yet to release I think, like the ambient noise reduction, chit chat, music sharing, app connection so waiting for that and the Halo Bit. 
IMO you can kinda say it is worth 6.5K.

If they sort out the minor fit and finish issues like I mentioned, it will be worthy of the 6.5K deal.
10K is overpriced but not as much as Apple trying to sell a monitor stand for 999 dollarsš.
10K will be the sweet spot for both the company and consumers. It will be like Atherās scooter pricing only - although On Road price is very premium people still buy Ather.
But if they give the same fit and finish as what they are giving now and price it above 10K it will be like Apple overpricing itās Stand.
I felt both were at the same level of loudness. Didnāt have any issues when it came to the volume part.
Iāve seen a post where you @srivatsabs24 were complaining about the loudness of the speakers.
The Headphone Safety feature in the phoneās settings might be the culprit. Make sure it is off.
For iOS - make sure you turn off the āreduce loud soundsā from Settings ā Sound and Haptics ā Headphone Safety ā Reduce Loud Audio.
For Androids - check if your device has the Headphone safety feature since not all devices are compatible, I only know that Samsungs have it under the name of Media volume Limiter or something. Make sure it is turned off.
If doing the above steps does not fix the issue, maybe just talk to the customer care.

Hey, thanks for letting me know about the iOS reduce loudness option. I had forgotten about that. Now the speakers are amazing. With full loudness.

@rohit.dalvi , After such a long wait, I finally received my Halo. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. The Bluetooth module in the Halo has rough finishing there are gaps every where donāt know whether it is still water resistant or not. Certainly this wasnāt what I expected after waiting for such long time.

My opinion in my previous post is of the same 6.5 to 7.5k is worth paying anything more is debatable and not worthy. Some thing less than that wonāt work out for Ather

- Good sound system
- Good microphone quality
- Overall helmet quality
Sound System:
The speaker performance is impressive. It genuinely surprises you with its quality, especially with the visor openāitās excellent. When the visor is closed, it feels like having your own personal theater over your head.
Microphone:
There are no issues with the microphone either; the clarity is exceptional.
Helmet Quality:
While the helmet shell is solid and dependable, the finishing leaves much to be desired.
Visor:
Itās surprising that a tinted visor was not included. If a visor must be purchased separately, I would expect the price to fall in the ā¹300-ā¹500 range. Anything beyond that would seem excessive.
Inner Padding:
The inner padding felt slightly rough at first, though it did soften after a few uses. By comparison, Axor helmets offer much softer padding, almost akin to memory foam.
Certifications:
While DOT certification is adequate for a helmet in the ā¹2,000 price range, for a helmet priced around ā¹10,000, ECE certification should be non-negotiable.
