They would get a replacement. Power-in is unnecessary complication for that charger(maybe a relay to switch power would solve the problem but would increase cost)

It came with no power, I charged it to 99% Iā€™d did work sound is good the have done good in improving then suddenly the next day it stopped working and I thought there might be no charge, I tried charging it with the same but itā€™s not working anymore itā€™s just not working. And this time m very disappointed with Ather.

Can someone tell me how to fix this issue itā€™s just showing a dim red light nothing else! And not even charging even after 2-3 hrs

Its ACDC once so you know the reality. However 1st one received in SEP and second one in NOV.

1st Grey & Second Orange.

Once they confirmed the choice & shipment took 1 week to receive.

Same happened to me once i kept charging it for i dont know how many hours and it did get chargedā€¦but this issue has happened again to me and till now its not showing completely charged and i m waiting

I think something inside gets loose and it stops it from turning on.

The dim red LED was supposed to be hidden, I think it belongs to the Qi wireless receiver. When it starts receiving power, it glows red.

If your Halo is not responding, try pushing the smart module (which has HALO text) into the helmet itself with your thumbs. That should fix the loose connection and it will turn on.

Has anyone managed to disconnect the smart module from the helmet?

I received my Halo a few days ago, and after a long wait which kinda killed the excitement. The Halo was already switched on and pairing light was blinking when I first took it out of the cover, assuming something inside triggered the sensor and stayed switched on, battery was at 10%. I plugged to charge, charged full and took it to test on my everyday work trip.

The Fit : I had ordered the size S based on my head size, but at the call of confirmation of Halo, the executive suggested I move a size up, so the order changed to Size M. The fit seems decent, tight to get my head through inside, hurts the ears while getting it on and off the head. The Axor helmet I own, is much better with regards to fit, and sits snug, while Halo is a bit loose. The chin guard is small in size, doesnā€™t cover the passage of dirt from under the chin. I wear a balaclava, so helps fit a bit better.

The Speakers : The velcro setup of the speaker isnt sticky enough, and came off first time I took the helmet out of my head. The wire it hangs by, seems fragile and Iā€™m worried it might break it ever is pulled too hard while wearing/removing the Halo. The speakers donā€™t sit exactly on the ear and and hence donā€™t sound most optimum as they would if it fit better. Unfortunately , the left speaker is bust and sounds broken, and Iā€™m gonna have to get a replacement. The audio quality seems good, but the fit makes it a bit underwhelming. Iā€™m disappointed with the QC or the lack of it, while shipping out these helmets.

The Finish : The shell of the Halo is very dust friendly, attracts dirt very easily. Even the padding being of lighter color, is very easy to get dirty, specially with Mumbai pollution. The finish on the shell doesnā€™t give me a lot of confidence, only time will tell how quickly it chips off or just gets dirty (Even in 2-3 days of wearing, shows a bit of wear)

Safety : Even though the helmet seems decent with build, itā€™s definitely not seeming the same as my Axor which has ECE certification, and double D ring. Helmet for safety for me is of bigger importance than smart features, and Halo might have to still get better on that front. Double visor/Sun visor is missing, Double D ring is missing, and better ventilation too. Battery life is holding decent for now.

Overall : I was very excited about the Halo, but rather disappointed with the time it took to come since order. The fact Iā€™ve gotten a broken speaker is already making me upset and have to wait to hear back about replacement. Although the Halo has made my everyday commute of 2 hours a bit lesser boring with music being played, and Iā€™m enjoying that. It does dampen some outside noise, but not as much. Hope Ather works on their Quality check and make a better helmet next time around.

I face a same issue half of the times.

The Apex helmet or the full face helmet which we find on their website is not their own helmet, they have outsourced the design but is better in terms of controlling ventilation and Fit.

The helmet being so huge yet the chin guard in so small?! The small cloth extension given to prevent dirt to enter could have been bigger so that more isolation would be present. Using a helmet cap or balaclava makes the comfort so much better. Without that, the Halo feels very off.

Most likely a connection issue with the module but yeah getting a replacement is better.

Ikr!! For 15k they havenā€™t provided something a 6k Axor would provide :smiling_face_with_tear:

There is none of the ā€œActive Noise Cancellationā€ which they mentioned :frowning:

Hey folks!

Some iOS users might be facing the problem of calls being automatically routed to the phone speaker instead of HALO.

Hereā€™s a pro tip to quickly fix that:

Settings ā€”> Accessibility ā€”> Touch ā€”> Call Audio Routing ā€”> Change Automatic to Bluetooth Headset

This setting change will allow automatic call routing to your Halo helmet from IOS devices even if we accept the call from the vehicle switch gear or by tapping the Halo button.

I really didnā€™t expected this kind of service from Ather. Have been biggest promoter had rizta and 450 series pre ordered halo etc. kindly help me with the issue, itā€™s been a long time without any solution and its becoming frustrating now.

Completed my payment on 14th and still no signs. I asked CC for an update on call and they told me to send an email to merch support. I told them that, this ID is useless and I never hear back. They told me to reach out to them if anything doesnā€™t happen. I have written to them twice but not a single update.
