After recent experience the hefty price of 12K and even 6.5K is not justified. The helmets primary job is safety , it’s meant to do that. If the helmet would’ve ECE rating along with DOT , a price of 5K is justified without the tech. With tech it might be around 7K but the speakers don’t have high fidelity drivers , or the hardware. The quality doesn’t justify the price at all.
And one important question , if the helmet tested with the smart module. How it reacts in case of accident.

Update: I’ve been using the halo almost everyday for a week, avg 2 hrs ride per day. Today battery stands at 30%, so estimated 10 days battery life for my use case.
Very flimsy visor. Not a fan of the new weird visor mechanism.
Would prefer the ratchet type over this mechanism. I am 
% sure that others will also feel the same about it.
So maybe just replace with a better mechanism.
The white color on the helmet gets dirty very easily.
Don’t have any issues with sound quality, microphone, speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, battery.
Is the fact that it does not fit in the 450 boot not a deal breaker for people? It would suck lugging around such a large helmet around if you’re going around places, and it’s definitely unsafe locking it to the seat as Ather recommends it, isn’t it?
Well the new seat is designed to be safer and is more difficult to pry into. Also if one has time to use that much brute force to break the seat lock I don’t think locking under the seat is safe either 
.

Just to be a simple friction held mechanism just wait till the micro dust gets collected on it and completely grindes it’s down to loose wiggly visior

I received my helmet couple of days ago, when I first connected my mobile Bluetooth to the helmet, it got connected, and even the speakers were working. Shortly after, the speakers stopped working, now I can’t hear any music, or even pick calls. Anyone facing this issue?

Bro they picked up my helmet but still no sign of replacement helmet.
Large size fits in gen3 and above scooters I am using and tested the fit in boot.
Reboot the helmet. Faced and this resolved the issue.
However I found another issue in mine. I accidentally pressed forgot device for my halo in the bluetooth setting and try to find the device since last 1day with no luck. Its not getting discovered.
You will have to put Halo in pairing mode or reset it, if not done already.
Without putting in pairing mode how I would do pairing.!? I have done that also reset done and even restarted my phone just in case. No luck on any front.
Have any Mumbai riders started getting the deliveries yet?

@chef.arun7 what’s the use of an award ceremony where the awardees never got the award. This should be spread across the general public forum as well. What’s the use of competitions forvwhich the prizes were never given even after much delay. I am not sure a police complaint would help in this regard. Looks like the company is taking things very lightly.

Yeah, Ather Halo never reached Awardees hands but just an Empty Box. After Got down from Stage, They took back the Box and gave us all a Voucher to redeem Ather Avatar kit which is worth 4,999/- in A Stall for the ACDC Event Attendees to buy it as Exclusive Skin for their Scooter.
But Personally I feel like, They must sent Halo to the Awardees in First Patch.
