I’m saying this since I got mine replaced, but many people are refusing to accept. They be like, Ather’s BMS is the best, my vehicle’s working fine since 5 years, etc, etc.
Later I got to know that earlier packs which had LG cells were going bad, Ather changed the supplier to BAK later. Offcourse no statement from Ather, but this was based on the cases people reported.
Ather does not provide a battery health report after service, even if you have purchased the Pro Pack and Extended Warranty. This leaves customers without any visibility into the battery’s condition during the warranty period. They may suddenly inform you of battery damage only after the warranty has expired, leaving you with an expensive repair bill. This is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on their after-sales service. Pathetic customer support and service experience.

The BAK cell is of higher capacity as well, 3.5kwh usable. This is why some people got 90-100km range while others got 130km+ on Gen 3 and 3.1.
Daylight robbery in my opinion. Indian consumer laws are a joke.
my gen 4 is barely averaging around 70-75 kms range these days bought it 1.5 yrs ago around 7k on the odo should I get it checked
I am also facing that problem since 7 days my scooter suddenly stop in the middle of the road and not working at tat time my battery charging shows 68% remaining as I drive it almost 30 km so I contact customer care they suggested me to reboot so I did then isaw on dashboard that my battery charging I 100% but not started so I take to nearest service center they check it by laptop and said it may be BMS battery issue so wait for reply from head office as we send data to concern department I shocked that a scooter which have no issues in any past days regarding charging or degradation of battery how can suddenly battery issue
literally same happened with me,my gen 3 450x only has 14k kms and bms failed the scooter stopped honking in middle,towed it to SC where they told me to replace battery with Ather good will discount. SC told me they gave a brand new battery yet from day 1 am facing 12% idle drain everyday. gave the scooter back to SC where they wasted my month only to tell take the scooter back cause Ather thinks drain is normal but my range has dropped from 80kms to 30kms in week usage and scooter came back with more scratches.
the repalced battery is not new,2023 manufacture with 94% SOH and 1% cell imbalance.My original battery was in better shape, truley lost trust in Ather and @tarun which already wasnt strong due to unfullfilled update promises

My battery was not charging on 2nd July but they did something and gave it back on 4th saying battery health is good and some software problem.again on 14th same problem happened so I left my bike in the same service station( Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru). After nearly one month today (13/08/2026) I got my battery replacement done,luckily had extended battery warranty and I had to pay nothing. But these Nagarbhavi service team is so pathetic that bill was given for the date of 07/08/2026 and no gate pass was given. Ather service stations are becoming horrible and pathetic. Ather needs to look into and concentrate more in the service team rather than the sales team which is even more horrible…
I have been an Ather 450X owner for almost one and a half years, and I am looking for advice regarding a seating issue. I have a small hemorrhoid, and on days when I use the scooter, I commute an average of 30 to 40 kilometers. If I ride continuously for more than 30 minutes, I experience pain. To be clear, it is not general back pain, but specifically pain in my nether region.
Does Ather offer more comfortable replacement seats for the 450X, or is there a reliable third-party modification I can apply to my scooter to make the ride more comfortable?
