That would be compensated in falling battery prices. So not much. RIP Ather is trending everywhere since they had a monopoly in EV. Now they cant do whatever they want.

Its low profit margins not exactly a loss… They have a very large factory and are looking at economies of scale…
Ather has a bigger profit margin because it’s a startup and it wants more money for its expansion plans…
Overall as a 450x owner I feel bad saying this but Ola scooter is way better than 450x in every single aspect including software.
Ather is gonna go down soon if they don’t amend their ways.

Guys hold on… OLA’s software is not tested by real and large number of users. Software implementation is hard. Ather looked equally exciting when they launched 450X but their implementation has been struggling. Lets wait and watch. Soon we can find similar discussions on Ola’s forum… hahaha:sweat_smile:

All competitors have plenty of indirect experience on what not to do by watching @ather flounder constantly and take its first mover advantage for granted.
All one has to do really is sign up here on the forum and list out all the grievances people raise here, then make sure that they don’t fall into the same pits.
@ather could have used its first mover advantage to devastating effect by innovating constantly and setting the bar out of reach, but instead chose to rest on its laurels and waste resources and kept treading water. Case in point: translucent panels.
Should be interesting to see how things pan out over the next year, and even more so watching fangirls cry in denial.

IDC range for 450x is 114 km and real world it’s araound 90km… IDC range for ola s1 Pro is 180km so real world range should be 140 to 150 km

Yeah, very much possible. I can extract 85-90 km on a good day in 450 which has 2.7 kWh battery. Considering 45% larger battery in Ola S1 pro, that translates to 125-130 km.
Anything less or more depends on person to person.

Absolutely not a fan or I can say a big hater of that loudspeaker sounds. But have to see if there is abluetooth connectivity with phone through which we can avoid this coming directly from scooter itself.
But other wise Ather and OLA are my preferences. And simple energy is just out of my books it seemed to me a copy cat for Ather with spoiler promises.

They did mentioned wifi connectivity, so mobile network can be used as hotpot, maybe they came up with vehicle servicing based plans later
