The first owners meet is scheduled for Sunday, 14th April. You would have already seen the invite in your email.
A bunch of Ather 450 owners are riding their 450 from Ather Space to IBC on Sunday morning. Feel free to join if you are interested. But make sure that you are there by 8.30AM if you’d like to grab the great coffee we have at Ather Space. We will start for IBC by 9AM. Sharp.
Alternately you can directly reach IBC Knowledge Park by 9:45AM for the session.

Hello folks!
We had a great ‘Ask Us Anything’ session on the Forum yesterday with the Chennai pre-order customers who had attended our Launch event back in July.
A lot of questions poured in around the battery, warranty, charging, vehicle’s load capacity and of course the side stand, and many other topics got covered. We have opened up the thread for everyone to view.

The very first Pre-Order Open House in Chennai!
We hosted the first Open House for those who pre-ordered in Chennai on Sunday, at Ather Space. Around 80 enthusiastic folks got a chance to interact with our folks from our product, charging infrastructure, service, delivery and customer support teams.
Attendees got a chance to learn more about the ownership experience and a lot of misconceptions about electric scooters were squashed after the extended test rides!
Some of the first few owners from Chennai were also at the Open House to share their journey and experience of owning the Ather 450, and we realized they can do as good a job (sometimes better) of teaching people about the scooter compared to the Ather Team. A huge thank you to all the pre-order folks and owners who took time off on a Sunday to make it for the event!

Owning an electric scooter comes with the constant anxiety of running out of charge or finding time to charge your scooter. That’s also how most of our owners felt when they started flying around on their Ather 450. So how did they overcome their initial concerns?

We hosted an owners’ meet for those who got their vehicles delivered after August this year. Here are some highlights from the event:
Ather Grid update
Free charging at Ather Grid has been extended for 3 months. Charging is on us till 31st March 2019!
Community portable chargers
We noticed that many of you are enthusiastic about riding longer distances. We are making portable chargers available for the community, that you can borrow for a couple of days and return back. We’ve handed over 3 portable chargers between @hemanth.anand @raghav.srinivasan and @rajeshkav in Bangalore and 2 with @Rahul in Chennai.
We’ll start a thread shorty to facilitate this.
Volunteers needed for usage report beta program
Perks of a connected, intelligent scooter? Get a monthly report of how you’re riding your Ather 450. Know about charging and riding habits and get suggestions on getting more from your 450.
As a part of the beta program we would want to understand your views on the report and get feedback on some specific data points.
To be a part of the beta program, you can fill out the form below by entering the email ID that is linked to your Ather Vehicle. All members of beta program would then be added to a closed group where you can detail your feedback and any issues that you encounter.
The biggest owners’ ride ever!
We announced a few details about the owners’ ride planned this Sunday, 15th December. The plan is to start from Ather Space in Indira Nagar around 10 AM to Patel’s Inn, RT Nagar. We’re awaiting a few permissions and we’ll share more details soon.

Take over the roads of Bengaluru, this Sunday.
So many ride groups are being formed in different pockets of the city. We keep hearing about these fun weekend Ather rides on the Forum. So we thought – why not plan a big one, where all the ride buffs can come together, taking over the streets of our city?

It’s going to be a big fat ride party with so many other like minded people, whom you might like to catch-up with.
Time to bring out your ‘Ninja’, ‘White-fury’, ‘Nimbus’, ‘Flight’, ‘Jet’, that’s all your Ather 450s this Sunday, as we plan to make Bengaluru sit up and gawk at this one big community ride.
P.S.: Also, we hear that many of you have been planning a Chennai ride, this might act as a short little prep?

It was our first Open House in @Pune and it was a great interactive session. We always love listening to the community and talking to them, and today’s interactions with Pune folks was quite insightful and engaging. We chatted on a whole bunch of things from the choice of motor to “Will I be able to upload other apps on the platform now that the vehicle has open-source Android” to “How frequently will I get OTA updates”.
So, @Mumbai get your questions ready, see you today at 6 PM today at antiSOCIAL. And @Hyderabad we are eager to meet you tomorrow morning.

Thanks @Hyderabad for the overwhelming response for our first Open House in your city. 100+ people turned up, we can already feel the sense of strong community. Fabulous conversations and hope we answer all your questions, at least we tried to. Also we are glad to see hundreds of test rides happening over the weekend. Good vibes! We are there at Chit chat chai till 7 PM, if anyone still wants to drop by.
