Why isn’t anybody talking about Ultracapacitors and it’s implementation into public transport and Megawatt scale form factor systems. P.S Make sure to watch Fully Charged on YouTube regrading their trip to Estonia.

Cap systems can be implemented in large vehicles. Workkng vehicles have been around since 2003 or so. Is this something new happening?

Has anyone been keeping a tab on QuantumScape?

Highlights: If you go through the video it is clear that Battery tech has changed leaps and bounds with the new battery QuantumScape has come up with and it is endorsed by the inventor of Li-ion batteries themselves.

The new battery promises 6 times more life, 25X more charging speed(15minutes to 80%) and safer and lighter and can operate in extreme temperatures without fluctuations on assured power. Costwise less too. So there will be drastic change in what would happen next.
