RERC fixes Rs 6/unit power tariff for EV charging stations

Tata Nexon EV subscription charges in India decreased

Tata Nexon EV, the home-grown automaker’s first fully electric offering for the personal vehicle market, has offered via a subscription model in the country since earlier this year. Tata Motors teamed up with Orix India in August 2020 to bring in this option for its electric SUV, with subscription plans starting at ₹41,900 for a tenure of 36 months. It was then further reduced to ₹34,900 per month under the purview of a special offer that was to remain applicable till 30 November 2020. However, in a move that is likely to boost demand, the company has decided to further slash prices of Tata Nexon EV’s subscription plans and quite considerably at that.

Ola to build ₹2,400 cr EV plant in Tamil Nadu

Mobility services provider Ola on Monday said it will set up its first electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu and will invest ₹2,400 crore to power its new business vertical that aims to sell green vehicle technologies in India and other markets world-wide.
