SmartEco is an Ather Labs feature that helps you get the full TrueRange of the Eco mode on their Ather 450X and 450 Plus.
The SmartEco mode intelligently regulates the amount of power available to ensure that you always get the TrueRange (85 Km for 450X, 70Km for 450Plus) available.
The range available for a particular ride is dependent on multiple factors including but not limited to:
- Efficiency of ride style (heavy acceleration, heavy braking)
- Terrain (uphills, slopes)
- Number of passengers on the scooter
- And several others.
When a vehicle is in the SmartEco mode, the vehicle monitors these parameters and regulates the amount of power. This way, it ensures the range is going to be as close to the TrueRange as possible.
