The security of the Ather bike is at stake. The air vents are open with no protective metal mesh. This leads to easy entry of rodents inside and thereby the cables and the rubber mat above the battery pack is easily accessible to rodent attack.
Any cross contacts with exposed wires and cables can result in 
fire.

This is not something to worry about, all vehicles are infact threatened by rodents. You need not worry about the fire because the vehicle would have fuses to protect itself from any sort of a short circuit. In particular if your neighborhood has faced any such issues try out the repellents which are commercially available.

Atleast the wires behind front mudguard and near swing arm should not visible or Ather must provide some mesh so that rats won’t enter I have read it takes hell lot of money to repair, I have to spray daily eucalyptus drops mixed with water to visible wire surfaces so that rats don’t eat the wires and I am tired of that.
