Work is taking me from Chennai to Bangalore. I own a Ather 450+ which I want to take it with me to Bangalore. The procedure to transfer any vehicle currently is to obtain NoC from Chennai and take it to Bangalore and re-register in Bangalore RTO. Any one has gone through this process with Ather? Any exceptions for EV? One major reason for above procedure is road tax. But it’s waived in both states. Do we still need to follow this process?
My knowledge is there is no different process for EV and ICE vehicle, you will need NOC from RTO and you can then re-register to the new state moving in, and then you will have to follow their regulations for the same.
