#Bringbackcoolingfan for apex

See apex motor generator lot of heat than other series But the motor is used as same of 450x as a result cooling of 450x is implemented on apex But apex need far bigger heatsink and change in design of cooling .high demand cooling it requires but passive air can fulfill just needed but not sufficient So needed an active big fan to cool motor

Same here with my Ather Ritza

found a best solution

yet affordable

these fan has no vibration and has only very less noise when compared to other and have good cfm 150 + i tried 100 kmphr in yesterday peak afternoon and motor cutoff will happen still the motor feel very energetic. no throttling issue

and auto hold come back very fast this fan almost cover enteire heatsink area and moves out to throw suspension area

but you need to cut the diagonal 2 side clips of fan for perfect fit in the motor top

and only very little vibration on highest speed all apex users can try

use a pwm controlle to control speed

you can try any cpu fan but it should be 120 mm size

and one of my recommendation if you need more less sound will be ARTIC A-12 MAX it cost 1k nearly but it will be more silent

these all can keep motor cooler at peak summer afternoon

for 450 user and apex user only

How did you power the fan

And any pics of the install?

It costs 645, from OEM it would have cost less than half. All these fuss just to save ₹300 per vehicle? :man_facepalming:

if they give as implement,it will drain battery and it affect range to ,so that may be reason and also need to do do wireing and programs

Their “data” and “analytics” probably helped them make this weird decision

I wanna meet the person who have idea of saving this 300

Well they can shove the data and rest up in a good place of Theres keep it safe let them.

Now all apex users have this solution atleast for now. It’s not farr ppl will eventually find a way to use other stuff to custom regen or other thing just gonna take a longggg longggg time.

@TOMMY how did u power it up ?

external battery i had to use to power it if i need to take photo i have to remove the whole panel and stuff its difficult next time i remove i will share photo

These fans are not designed for outdoor use. A proper vehicle fan is a radiator fan. Moreover, I think the main reason for removing the fan is to reduce the NVH levels.

DIY is good, but one needs to get a good Radiator fan in Push action, a proper thermal fan controller and also, without disturbing the original wiring harness, find a proper power to it.

let it work till it last , that much time i have some time to not deal with heat na

bruh add like a extra zero after it,dont know the exact specs of it but its a good big all weather fan which I feel is more powerful than in the radiators of KTM 390 bikes which cost over 2.4k + wiring

only 16 cm scerw hole we have we need to find fan which suits it i guss 6 inch radiator fan it cost 2 k above and have good vibrations

ie why its better go with cpu fan very less vibration sound and 12cm fan can move more air in low rpm which means less noise also

how are you making the CPU fan water n dust proof? also i really dont think it will give enough flow

U would be surprised how good the flow would be but the rest of 2 is a issue that’s for sure.

dust will surely go in but motor is already having ip68 rating so no issue

water wont go in fan its inside motor cabin so issue like that

but it is able to cool not 100% time at top speed at 60% time acceleration is powerful at top speed

anyways need a pause to cool down acceleration will come stronger first then autohold come back it take time

at a stop maxinum 10-20 sec it will comeback depending upon how was the ride speed before stopping and all

In the early days, I remember people complaining about the fan’s noise and vibration, like it was a dealbreaker for them.

Yes, Definitely not cost.
