Previous generation had cooling system when motor (6.4kw gen 3) heats up
And apex have 7kw motor and it’s not able to give sustaintnd performance without cooling
As in 2025 model of 450x series have 6kw motor (new), previous had (6.4kw) this is to resist heat in motor with magic twist . As magic twist bring heat in motor and in apex this is too much for motor to withstand and it give heavy performance degradation
I can feel the hot air comming out from the under seat of front panal. So if cooling is implemented to apex it need it than bms doing it or you should expose motor to direct cooling which is not possible .pls give provision to give external cooling fan
I had raised ticket on this I need to know other option on this
Their site is wrong. I’ve always observed such petty mistakes on their website. They are not updating their site properly. There will be a lot of mistakes if you keenly observe on their site.
Then if it still 6.4 motor with magic twist
Then sure autohold cuts off veryfast and motor will heat at longer ride or high speed
Apex users know this issue now
Welcome the 450x series to new heating issue and end up using normal disc brakes than the magic twist
And after motor getting heated magic twist get weaken weaken and at a situation it won’t even work

Everyone do mistakes but We need to Correct them at Some Point. Living with Issue in ourselves and Giving Compromising Replies will not be Good for Both Parties

Ather Energy has replied thru call to @rakshithricky1994 to give rest for 5-10 Mins then Proceed with Warp+ on His Apex. We have Call Recording.
if Ather doesn’t care about it’s users then we should stop caring about their reputation of being rnd focused reliable ev maker, they really want us to wait to be able to use it when it overheats instead of providing a fan
exactly, i was honestly impressed with ola s1 pro but the only reason I did not consider buying it was absence of fan and it’s batteries catching fire, Ather without fan will atleast break the motor or battery much before 8 years but seems like they’re r&d-ing legal ways to avoid replacing battery packs even saw someone here saying his battery warranty was rejected due to a small scratch on bottom of the battery pack (Ather themselves removed the panel below the battery pack )
