Ather stack 6.0

Ideally message comes on day of update ( like in my case). But if update is not pushed same day, it’s a trouble of checking everyday. Better to go to SC and get it updated manually.

Please check if the network is proper in the scooter mine was in basement parking two floors down with a single bar I think that was the reason it downloaded late. Can’t be sure but it’s a possibility.

@smridhi.kalati after Ather 6 update, my 450x is only getting 50kms as mileage. almost 1kms per 2% of charge but before I use to get 70kms. even the ideal drain is climate to 5% for 8hrs

@smridhi.kalati @rohit.dalvi Why did you close a feature request topic ? What’s the point in doing so ?

Let me put it in a different way !

Why do they have to automate the closure of a Feature requests topic ?

So I have driven 400+ km after the Atherstack 6 update and here are my views. I own a 450x gen 3.1.

  1. The reverse throttle regen has been reduced to next to unusable while the coasting regen is off.
  2. The reverse throttle regen doesn’t work when the coasting regen is on.
  3. The screen stutters/lags while switching to map mode or back.
  4. The bluetooth takes a longer time to connect.
  5. If any song is playing or if there is a call going on then it displays on the top left corner and after the call is cut it still shows as it gets stuck and even though after the call is cut the song resumes the song details doesn’t come back on. This is the issue I have faced from AS5.

I really want the regen back as it was on reverse throttle and also adjustability on coasting regen levels.

If anyone else is also facing these issues or any other please continue the thread and do tag the Ather employees as I am not aware of anyone whom I can tag.

Thanks.

Yes the intensity of forced regen has fallen drastically after the stack6 update

Please tag the Ather team as I spoke to the customer care executive and he said that we cannot serve a single vehicle this needs to be a collective issue.

Requesting other Ather owners to respond as well.

Did not realise this. If someone don’t want Coasting Regen, if they turn it off then the vehicle should behave like it used to. Reverse throttle regen now is at par with breaking regen.

@pravinpetkar190675 @SidG26 @parthu1196 I have beta since july,I left many feedbacks on app and tagged Ather forum managers that my flying over the speed breakers I used to force regen over, even have to use more brakes than before in traffic

worse part is if they can only run 1 regen algorithm still forced is not on par with coasting or overwrites power with older one below 30kmph

But seems like things with Ather are either you compromise on something for a new feature or the devs are so slow you will never know if they have counted your feedback or opinion

I don’t know about you but my forced regen work good when COASTING is off, also where the heck is ping my scooter

forced regen only works when coasting is off still it wont be as powerful as coasting at 50kmph+

I dont know how long you have owned your scooter but my gen 3 used to have forced regen power as coasting above 30kmph in stack 5 and comepletely stop than rolling after 5kmph now

It sounds like while I was driving at a speed of 55, the display suddenly went black, showed Ather logo, and then returned to normal after 5 seconds. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

Same thing happened to my rizta two days before

I know how everyone had been complaining about Bluetooth connectivity. With me something opposite happened. When I received the new app on mobile, the Bluetooth was still able to connect smoothly (even though I had not received the Ather stack 6 on my 450s).

Then When I received the Ather stack 6 on the scooter, a notification on phone had said I will have to disconnect my Bluetooth and then pair again. But I didn’t do any such thing and my Bluetooth is still connecting smoothly.

Edit: sorry, I realised yesterday that after new stack update the Bluetooth wasn’t connecting. Had to re-pair with the phone. The process was simple and hassle free.
