Claim warranty. Throttle grips of Ather have 6 months warranty. Even mine tore off. I raised a ticket on June 6th. No resolution until now. But warranty is there for 6 months from date of purchase.
So, my kids painstakingly and meticulously tore off my left Ather Grip. Yes, I think they had a hard time doing it, but at a certain age, this is enjoyable. Riding with the plain old grip in one hand and the Ather Grip in the other, it seems that the original grip has a bit more stickiness owing to the type of rubber although it seems to be a bit too much to my taste. The stickiness of the rubber is offset on the foam grip by the increased grith, which is giving a bit more comfort and control. But eventually, my right-hand fatigues, partly because of the throttling and the wider hold. I cannot quantify yet though, how it would be if I did a long ride without the Grip on my scooter. That will have to wait for another day, when my kids get busy again.
Net-net, the Ather Grip is a good and dead cheap investment for both protection of the original grip as well as comfort.
Long time no see good to see u back online Any clue what’s the cost of the normal grip ?
Are these Grips a must for an Ather Rizta? I meant not just the official accessory but any other is also a must?
