If the scooter can be ridden to approx 75 kms at full charge, it will be very useful to have charging points located at a radius of 70kms from the city. This way the rider can ride up to 105 kms at one stretch after stopping at the recharge station for a quick charge. He will also be able to return on the same route with enough charge on the scooter and if he stops at the recharge station for a quick charge , will be able to return to the starting point.

[43 km] Sriperumbudur

[29 km] Tambaram
The charging points if placed in the places listed above, will make it possible for riders to use the scooter safely for 70 + 70/2 = 105kms and return 70/2 km stop at a recharging point and ride for 75kms more to reach the starting point. This is possibly the maximum one can ride using one hop, if the recharging point is located at any of the places mentioned below then a single ride can range from 64kms to 105 km onwards with a one-stop point for recharging and also return to the starting point.

Ather should open more grid points soon in Chennai . Only few grid points are active .
North Chennai we need one grid KOLATHUR/molakadai/vyasarpadi/madhavaram

You removed grid in kolathur ( bikes and burger) why try to install one in north chennai kolathur or Perambur. Install 70ft road easy buy

This suggestion are based on large parking areas ,large foot fall , and easy access to technical feasibility with security around the clock.

Oh yes please Ather, we in south chennai have absolutely nothing here , the closest one is in Alwarpet and I hate to break it to you but it’s completely glitched and for some reason refuses to charge !

I have 450x series 1 . Grid in vadapalani forum mall and ampha skywalk is not working . Its only working for 450 users. Pls change it to new grid
This is interesting I thought all the fast charging stations in ather grid are now 2nd generation.
So still 1st gen stations exist!!!
Dont think there are any 1st gen or 2nd gen charging points. The vehicles charge at different speeds using the same point (thanks to their respective BMS).
@abbas.mech16 do make sure to raise it as a ticket via the Ather app. resolutions to posts on the forum are unlikely to happen.
