Bajaj Chetak Urbane is cheaper than Ather, but not the Premium. We still have to understand whether Ex-showroom is after FAME benefit or before…
And Chetak still is semi-smart scooter and leagues behind in tech.
But it surely will attract budget commuter and Brand oriented people
Ather might be Costly, however its worth for every Rupee spent!!! I am unaware of Bajaj and hence would not comment on that, but being a proud owner of Ather, I can surely vouch for it!!!
Going by the specs, Ather has much better chances than any other competitors as this moment!!!

How is Ather costlier than Chetak? 
Regarding bang-for-the-buck I’ll reserve my comments till I test ride the Chetak. I hope that the people saying that Ather is Costly have taken a test ride of both scooters

Is the Ather 450 price 1.25L before or after subsidy?
Ather 450 OTR Bengaluru price is 1.13L and not 1.25L. This is including subsidy of around 27k.
Chetak price is including subsidy too
